SafeScan is a fast, private QR and barcode scanner that does more than read codes.
Before you open a scanned link, it checks the address for common phishing and lookalike-site patterns and shows a clear warning if something looks off, so you can decide with confidence. Everything is read on your device.
WHAT YOU CAN DO
Scan with confidence
Point your camera at any QR code or barcode. Risky or lookalike links are flagged before you open them, and short links are expanded so you see where they really go. Choose the mode that fits: Auto reads as you point, Manual captures on your tap, and Continuous scans many codes in a row.
Save to your Wallet
Keep the codes you use most in one place, organized into folders. Open any saved code full screen and the display brightens so it scans on the first try.
Create your own codes
Generate QR codes for a website, Wi-Fi, contact card, email, social profile, and more. Add your colors, a gradient, or your own logo. No watermark, ever.
Know what you scanned
Scan a product barcode to see its name, nutrition facts, and ingredients, with allergen alerts based on your own diet profile. Scan a book to see its cover and details.
Use it everywhere
Scan a code from a photo in your library, read several codes in one shot, and reach the scanner from the Share Sheet, home screen widgets, and Siri Shortcuts.

PRIVACY FIRST
No account. No ads inside the app. No advertising identifier. Your scans, links, Wi-Fi passwords, and saved codes stay on your device. Optional, anonymous analytics help us improve the app and can be turned off anytime in Settings.
SUBSCRIPTION DETAILS
SafeScan Pro is an auto-renewing subscription, offered as Weekly (with a 3-day free trial), Monthly, and Yearly plans. Prices are shown in the app and vary by region. Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase. Your subscription automatically renews unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period; your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends. You can manage or cancel anytime in your App Store account settings.
