Scan your home Wi-Fi like a network engineer. See what's on your network, spot the devices that could be a way in, and split them off your main connection — no account
NeuroPing is a home network scanner that runs entirely on your phone.
No account, no cloud, no tracking — your scan results never leave your device.
Tap one button and NeuroPing will:
Find the devices on your Wi-Fi using mDNS, Bonjour, and a port sweep — anything that answers a probe
• Identify routers, smart TVs, IP cameras, printers, NAS drives, IoT,
game consoles, and unknown devices
• Score your network's health and surface the devices that look risky —
cameras, IoT, unknowns, and anything exposing a risky service
• Recommend exactly which devices should move off your main Wi-Fi to
a Guest or Isolated network — and tell you how to do it on YOUR
specific router (Eero, Xfinity, AT&T, Google Nest, Netgear,
TP-Link Deco, Asus, UniFi, Firewalla, and generic models)
Four scenarios on top of the scan:
• Traveler — Is this hotel Wi-Fi safe enough for work? Captive portal
detection, public IP geolocation, real-time service-latency probes
against Cloudflare, Google, and Apple. Get a 0–100 readiness score
and a do-now / do-next checklist.
• Gamer — Will my connection lag when the house gets busy? A one-tap
Lag Test measures your ping while idle, then again under full load;
the gap (bufferbloat) is graded A through F — the metric that
actually predicts in-game lag. Plus game-console detection and a
live ping monitor.
• Devices — Every device the scan found, grouped by trust zone or
device type. Tap any device to see why it's classified that way:
which mDNS service it announced, what Server header it returned,
which ports it exposes.
• Blast Radius — Your real exposure, drawn as a map: which risky
devices on your Wi-Fi can reach your valuable ones (laptops, phones,
NAS), and exactly how to cut those connections. Built-in segmentation
walkthroughs for nine router families show which settings to flip.
Tools for the edge cases:
• Magnetic anomaly sweep — Sweep a room with your phone's
magnetometer to spot the magnetic field many electronics leak, and
cross-reference your scan for known camera-vendor devices on the
Wi-Fi. Not a guarantee — a useful clue.
• Signal walk test — Move through your home, dropping zone tags;
NeuroPing builds a real-time map of dead zones and per-room
quality so you know exactly where you need a Wi-Fi extender.
• Internet quality probe — Download speed, upload speed, typical
latency (median of 10 pings to Cloudflare), stability (jitter),
packet loss, and a DNS resolver comparison across Cloudflare,
Google, and Quad9.
What we do NOT do:
• No advertising networks
• No analytics SDK that links the install to an identity graph
• No account, no email collected, no contact info
• No cloud sync of your scan
• No selling or sharing your data with anyone
NeuroPing is built by a Senior Network Engineer who runs enterprise
firewalls for a living and wanted the same level of visibility for
his own house — and wanted to give it to everyone else too.
