Click Reminder is a lightweight menu bar utility that lets you capture tasks and thoughts instantly — without leaving what you're doing.
Living entirely in your macOS menu bar, Click Reminder gives you a frictionless way to jot down anything that comes to mind. Every task syncs seamlessly with Apple Reminders, so your to-do list stays up to date across all your Apple devices.
Capture at the speed of thought:
- Instant Capture — Click or press your hotkey, type, hit Enter. Done.
- Natural Language Dates — Type "call mom tomorrow at 4pm" and the due date is set automatically. Works in English, Hebrew, German, and Spanish.
- Recurring Tasks — Write "water the plants every day" or "report every Thursday" and the task repeats. Daily, weekly, monthly, or yearly.
- Quick Date Chip — Press Tab while typing to cycle Today / Tomorrow / Next week. No menus, no mouse.
- Links in Tasks — Paste a link with your task and get a clickable badge that takes you straight back to it.
Stay on top of your day:
- Due Dates & Notifications — Overdue tasks turn red, today's turn orange. Notifications are delivered natively by Apple Reminders — even when Click Reminder isn't running.
- Overdue at a Glance — The menu bar counter turns red the moment something is overdue.
- Today's Schedule — Optionally see your upcoming calendar events above your tasks, with one-click join for Zoom, Google Meet, and Teams meetings.
Built for the keyboard:
- Full Keyboard Navigation — Arrow keys to move, Space to complete, Backspace to delete, arrow to edit. Never touch the mouse.
- Instant Search — Type "/" and filter your tasks as you type.
- Global Hotkey — Open Click Reminder from anywhere (default Option+Command+C). Customizable in Settings.
