CANADA, PROPERLY SUPPORTED Provinces now work everywhere states do — saved with your breweries, shown in addresses, filtered on the Breweries tab, and searchable. Canadian breweries turn up in search for the first time, and postal codes are kept correctly. DISTANCES IN KILOMETRES Distances follow where you are, so you'll see kilometres in Canada and miles in the US, with no setting to find. Prefer to choose? Settings has Automatic, Miles and Kilometers. FILTER BY STATE OR PROVINCE The Breweries tab gets the same filter style as Beers: tap States or Provinces, pick as many as you like, and see how many breweries are in each. A count shows how much the filter is hiding. BETTER ADDRESSES Street addresses that used to come up blank when adding a brewery are now filled in, ZIP codes keep their leading zero, and addresses read the same everywhere in the app. FEWER DUPLICATES A brewery listed under two names — "Adirondack Pub and Brewery" and "Adirondack Brewery" — now shows once. The app checks the phone number and location, not just the name. SEARCH THE MAP BY NAME Explore now has "Search by Name" to jump straight to a brewery on the map, and picking one opens its details instead of leaving you to find the pin.

You'll also see community ratings beside your own, a warning when a place has closed, and you can save a brewery to your passport straight from the info card. Search is rebuilt — it matches as you type and finds brewpubs Apple Maps files as restaurants, so a lot more breweries turn up. Near-identical names no longer show twice. Plus numbered stops on route maps, redesigned pins, and multi-state filtering.

A BETTER BREWERY INFO CARD Tap "Hours & Info" on any brewery for a redesigned card — a street-level photo of the place, its category, address, phone, and website, plus one-tap directions that stay in the app. It loads reliably, every time. Hours, photos, and reviews are still one tap away in Apple Maps. MUCH LIGHTER ON YOUR PHONE Your photos and brewery logos now load at the size they're actually shown instead of at full resolution. Pintly Passport uses a fraction of the memory it used to, thumbnails appear faster, and scrolling is smoother — a real difference on older iPhones. NOW RUNS ON iOS 18 Pintly Passport previously required the newest version of iOS. It now supports iPhones running iOS 18 and later, so a lot more people can start a passport of their own.

Plan the trip, not just the log. DIRECTIONS THAT STAY IN THE APP Tap a brewery's address and the driving route draws right there — time, distance, and the map, without bouncing out to Apple Maps. Add more stops to build a whole brewery day, reorder them until the route makes sense, then send the finished trip to Apple Maps or save it as a list for next time. ROUTE TO PLACES YOU HAVEN'T SAVED Found something new on the map or in Find Nearby? Route to it immediately — no need to add it first. Pull in more stops from your saved breweries or from what's nearby, and anything new lands in your wishlist automatically so you never lose track of it. QUICK ACTIONS Long-press the app icon for Log a Visit, Log a Beer, or Find Nearby. Straight to the thing you opened the app for. A HOME SCREEN THAT'S YOURS Reorder your home sections and stat tiles however you like, and keep a visit calendar right on the home screen — expand it to browse the month and tap any day to see where you were.
