A thoughtful word puzzle on a 7×10 grid. Tap letters to spell a word, watch it clear, and new letters fall from the top. Three modes are free, and one more unlocks with RiftWords+. Four languages at launch, twenty-one planned. One daily board per language. WHY RIFTWORDS IS DIFFERENT Most word puzzles ship in English and add translations as an afterthought. RiftWords was built the other way around, with letter frequencies, validation, and the daily share card rebuilt per language rather than bolted on top of an English core. Russian, Ukrainian, and Greek are first-class targets arriving in Update 2, not stretch goals. Every player who speaks your language plays the same daily board, on the same day, with the same chances. THREE MODES AT LAUNCH, ONE GRID Daily is one puzzle a day in your language, three minutes long, one attempt, resetting at your local time midnight, with a share card that captures your score, best word, and the rifts you cleared. Blitz is a three-minute lightning round where you spell as fast as you can and chase your high score. Zen drops the clock and the limits and leaves only the spelling. RIFT TILES The board fights back. Three kinds of permanent special cells turn every game into a small puzzle inside the bigger one. Volatile tiles tick down with every word you submit; miss the deadline and they detonate, taking neighbors with them. Scramble tiles randomize the rest of their row the moment you clear a word in it, so the board you just memorized is gone. Cursed tiles deduct points for every cursed letter in your word, and sometimes they sit on the only path to the high-value play. POWER-UPS Some modes hand you power-ups to bend the board. Row blast clears a row you pick. Column blast clears a column. Cluster blast clears a 3×3 area around a tile of your choice. A rare Nuke clears the whole board, saved for the toughest Ascent runs. LANGUAGES AT LAUNCH English, Spanish, German, and French ship on day one, each with its own native-corpus dictionary built from real letter-frequency data and native-translator-reviewed interface text. Nine more arrive in Update 2: Italian, Portuguese, Dutch, Polish, Turkish, Indonesian, Russian, Ukrainian, and Greek (with full polytonic script support). Eight more land in Update 3, including Korean and Japanese. RIFTWORDS+ INCLUDES A single one-time upgrade. No subscription, no loot boxes, no energy timers. It unlocks Ascent, the fourth game mode, and removes the optional rewarded ads that otherwise appear between rounds. DESIGNED FOR QUIET PLAY No flashing rewards, no forced tutorials, no streak-anxiety pressure. The reference points are the New York Times Games section, Monument Valley, and A Little to the Left. RiftWords reads the way it plays, considered, confident, a little curious. OFFLINE BY DEFAULT Bundled dictionaries are included for every launch language. All 13 languages are now live. Play RiftWords in English, Spanish, German, French, Italian, Portuguese, Dutch, Polish, Turkish, Indonesian, Russian, Ukrainian, and Greek, each with its own dictionary and its own daily board. Sharper type throughout, including a custom Cyrillic and Greek typeface so every language reads cleanly. Tighter word validation, plus a round of fixes to layout and the end-of-game screen.
