porta host is the free companion app you must separately download and install on the Mac whose display you want to share. Install the paid porta app on your iPhone, iPad, or another Mac to connect.
Open porta host in your signed-in Mac session, allow Screen Recording, and pair using the displayed six-digit code. The Mac App Store host build provides screen sharing and pairing only; it does not request Accessibility or inject remote mouse and keyboard events. Keep the host running during remote sessions.
Use it only with Macs you own or administer. Login-screen and FileVault pre-boot control are not supported. Screen content is not stored or uploaded to a developer-operated service. Access from outside your local network requires an appropriate network setup.
