MoveMatic is a native macOS motion design tool built for designers and product builders. Powerful yet streamlined, MoveMatic is especially well-suited for product demos but is also perfect for titles, ads, and education. Packed with time-saving features like automatic intros and outros, emphasis animations, particle systems, motion paths, multi-scene storytelling with transitions, and a timeline that ripples, snaps, and aggregates to support rapid and fluid iteration. • Visibility spans, not just keyframes. The span itself defines when a layer exists. Drag the edges to retime, stack intro/outro effects, get a real animation in seconds instead of authoring three keyframes for opacity and three for scale. • Pulses for one-shot beats. Scale, glow, and radiate gestures you drop on a layer's pulse track. They fire at playback without disturbing the layer's baseline keyframes — the way a real UI emphasizes a button press or a notification. • A timeline that ripples. Move a keyframe and the rest of the timeline follows. R cycles ripple modes (off / before / after / both); span edges, pulses, and group children all participate. Aggregate tracks roll children up into one row, so you can retime an entire group in one drag. • Mix & Match. Select a row of layers and one click redistributes their Fill, Stroke, Size, Font, or Text Content across the selection. A bias slider blends toward fresh values sampled from each property's range. • Camera zoom layers. Drop a zoom layer over any region and the playhead lenses into it for the layer's visibility span — full-screen or as a picture-in-picture viewport composited back into the scene. Product detail shots without re-staging the composition. • Particles that emit from anything. A deterministic particle generator with fine-grained control. Emit from any layer's footprint, including curvature-aware lines, and they ride along as the source animates. • Real video clips. Drop a screen recording onto a layer and cut it into clips, each with its own trim, speed, and end behavior. A dedicated trim sheet gives filmstrip scrubbing and frame-precise in/out; freeze-frame pins a clip to a single moment. • Follow paths and behaviors. Bind a layer's motion to any line — loop, half-cycle, sticky-end, plus per-letter upright text-on-path. Layer on physics-style Behaviors and an Attract field for motion that reacts instead of just plays back. • Multi-scene documents. A single .mvm file holds a sequence of scenes, each with its own layers and timeline. Drag chips to reorder, drop a Fade / Slide / Push / Zoom transition between any two, and lay a document-wide audio bed underneath. • Built-in AI authoring (optional). A second inspector tab, gated by a Preferences toggle and your own Anthropic API key. Ask it to add layers, animate properties, build scenes, or restructure the timeline — every action lands as a real undoable edit. • MP4 and transparent export. Render the current scene, all scenes joined by transitions, or any scene by name — with configurable output scale, motion-blur samples, and audio muxing. Export with an alpha channel (ProRes 4444 or the smaller HEVC-with-alpha) to composite the animation over other footage. • Native and lightweight. Pure SwiftUI + AppKit. Small binary, instant launch, no background services. Localized to eight languages.

Big update! A few (a lot of) highlights: PICTURE-IN-PICTURE & EXPORT - Transparent export: export with an alpha channel (ProRes 4444 or the much smaller HEVC-with-alpha) so you can composite the animation over other footage. Audio can be included. - Layer blur now exports, rendering in the MP4 just like on the canvas. - Shadows animate: keyframing a layer's shadow tweens smoothly between presets. VIDEO - Multiple clips per video layer: add, duplicate, split, and delete clips, each with its own trim, speed, and end behavior. - Dedicated trim sheet with filmstrip preview, draggable in/out handles, frame-precise input, and I/O hotkeys. - Freeze-frame mode pins a clip to a single source frame. - No more clip-start flash when opening a clip during playback. PARTICLES - Particle generators! - Emit from any layer's footprint, including curvature-aware line emitters. - Gradient tint, export motion blur, and a clip / no-clip toggle for spilling past the frame. MOTION & ANIMATION - Follow Path: bind a layer's motion to any line, with loop, half-cycle, and sticky-end options, plus per-letter upright text-on-path. - Attract field and a per-layer Behaviors system for physics-style influences layered on top of keyframes. TIMELINE - Unified model across spans, keyframes, scenes, and music, with per-scene playhead and selection preserved across switches. - Distribute & Stagger across any selection; timeline zoom up to 8x (press Z); Auto Fit Duration. - Ripple-aware retime and duplicate; selection pills hide during drags. CANVAS, GROUPS & INSPECTOR - Resize handles work cleanly inside groups; full-screen zooms inside groups drive the export camera. - Opacity slider, tap-to-toggle hide/lock badges, blur, text shadow, SVG color swap, and gradient fills in the inspector. - Replace Color (Edit menu), scoped to your selection with a single undo. ASSISTANT - Now understands particle systems, motion paths and follows, scene transitions, gradients, and animated effects, and places new layers correctly. RELIABILITY & FIXES - Editing a value during a keyframe hold is now a true no-op (held fields show greyed-out) instead of dropping a stray keyframe. - Scrubbing a keyframed X/Y, size, or scale field no longer snaps to the nearest keyframe on the first tick. - Resize handles on animated layers no longer jump to the base size. - Drag-and-drop import from Finder works now, dropping where you release. - Cleaner undo history; menu commands stay in the right window; cropped media shows its visible size. - Documents open fit-to-window
