When your head is full, it can be hard to know what belongs in front of you and what can wait.
KUU is a quiet voice-first app for brain dumps, overthinking, scattered ideas, and the small worries you do not want to keep carrying.
Speak what is on your mind. It does not need to be organized.
KUU turns what you said into text and gently separates it four ways:
Now / Later / Park / Let go.
The point is not to do more.
It is to make a little room in your head.
■ When to use it
- Before bed, when your mind starts running.
- When the same thought keeps looping.
- When task managers have started to feel heavy.
- When you want to be heard, but do not want to send it to anyone.
- When talking out loud helps you understand what you mean.
- When an idea appears before it has a shape.
- When you do not want to forget something, but it is not ready to act on.
- When voice feels easier than typing.
- When your hands are busy: cooking, walking, getting ready, or moving through the day.
■ The 4 ways
Now — Something that may feel lighter if you look at it soon.
Later — Something to return to at another time.
Park — An idea, feeling, or question that does not need an answer yet.
Let go — A worry or thought you may not need to keep holding.
These are not priorities or scores.
They are quiet ways to hold what you said.
■ How KUU is different
- Unlike a notes app, KUU starts with speaking, not writing.
- Unlike a task manager, KUU does not turn every thought into something to do.
- Unlike an AI chat, KUU does not give long advice or add more things to think about.
KUU receives what you said and separates it into smaller, easier pieces.
■ What you can do
- Speak naturally, even when your thoughts are mixed.
- See your words as text.
- See only what needs your attention now.
- Keep later thoughts, parked ideas, and things to let go in their own places.
- Revisit what you have said when you want to.
■ Voice and data
- Raw audio is not kept.
- What you said is saved as text so you can look back later.
- Sorting uses AI. Only your words as text are sent, and nothing is kept.
- Your saved text syncs only to your private iCloud.
- Other people, and the app developer, cannot read it.
KUU is not here to add more thoughts.
It is here for the space between:
"I do not need to solve this right away"
and
"I do not want to keep holding it in my head."
—— Speak, and free your mind.
This app lets you take voice memos and automatically sorts them as tasks—exactly what I wanted! Really nice, simple design as well. I wish I could also copy/export the task items, and that the app also stored the voice transcripts for longer rambling thoughts.
Developer Response
Thank you for the review.I’m really glad to hear that the simple voice-to-sorted-tasks flow is working well for you.Copy/export options and keeping the original voice transcripts are both very helpful suggestions.I’ll consider them for future improvements so the app can support longer and more flexible brainstorming sessions.
Could be better!

Kind of wish we can adjust the font sizes. I feel it’s a little too small, especially when I put the widgets on Home Screen. フォントのサイズを調整できたらもっと良いかもと思いました。今のは(特にウィジェットにすると)少し小さすぎるなと感じます。
Developer Response
Thank you for the review and the helpful feedback.Based on your feedback, we’ve added support for changing the widget font size in the latest version. You can adjust it by long-pressing the widget and selecting “Edit Widget.”レビューありがとうございます。いただいたご意見をもとに、最新バージョンでウィジェットの文字サイズ変更に対応しました。ウィジェットを長押しして「ウィジェットを編集」から調整できます。
Here's KUU 2.4.0.
【What's new in 2.4.0】
■ Editing no longer stumbles
When you tweak what you said, moving to another line no longer closes what you were writing. You can now place your cursor right at the start of a line, too.
■ The first-time guide stays till the end
Tips on how to use KUU no longer vanish before you've finished reading them.
■ KUU+'s theme sorting, ready right away
Once you join KUU+, you can switch it on right there on the welcome screen. No need to dig into settings — what you say sorts itself by theme.
As always, we're here to help a little space return to your mind.
