After years of meditating, I couldn't find a tool I'd actually use. Every app talked, played music. So I built one—for real meditation, not content. True Meditation is an app built for actually practicing breath meditation. It's not an app where you listen to guided audio or consume content. It was designed for the real thing—meditation itself. True Meditation follows your breath alongside you, and quietly nudges you when your attention drifts. From there, all you do is come back to the breath. A tool that handles the hardest step of meditation—that's the idea this app was built around. Not content to listen to. A tool for the practice itself, from the start. — Four meditation modes - Normal Meditation: Your everyday session—the daily practice you keep returning to. - Emergency Meditation: For when tension rises. A short session to help bring you back. - Sleep Meditation: Not a sleep story to listen to. You meditate from bed yourself, and falling asleep mid-session is by design. - Challenge Mode: Not a multi-day streak challenge. Within a single session, see if you can stay with the breath without your mind drifting. — What's in. What's out. On the screen: a single ring of light that moves with your breath. What you won't find: guided audio, recommendation algorithms, streak pressure, push notifications. This app doesn't teach meditation. It accompanies you as you breathe, notice your thoughts, and return to the breath. — Records, without pressure Session length, breath count and tempo, and a calm score are tracked automatically. Check them, or don't. Either way works. The benefits of meditation are well-established. In our complex modern lives, the need has only grown. But few people actually sit down to practice. This app was built to close that gap. With five minutes of consistent practice each day, you'll notice subtle changes in yourself after a few months.
