MediShot now uses its own registered DICOM Implementation Class UID for improved PACS compatibility. Annotation tools now save reliably from the very first use. MediShot — Convert clinical photos to DICOM and send directly to PACS. All from your phone. Send clinical photos taken during outpatient visits or house calls directly to your hospital's PACS — no dedicated camera, USB device, or PC required. Capture, DICOM conversion, and transmission all happen within the app. Automatic face blurring (de-identification) and annotation drawing are also supported, letting you protect patient privacy and organize visual information at the same time. Ideal for clinical settings such as: Dermatology — tracking lesion progression and linking records to the EHR ENT — quickly registering endoscopic images and oral photos to PACS Home care / house calls — sending images on-site, right after capture Dentistry / plastic surgery — organizing mobile-captured images as a series Main Features — Free DICOM conversion & transmission Convert JPEG / PNG / HEIC images to DICOM and send via C-STORE to PACS. Patient information entry Enter patient ID, name, sex, and date of birth. Barcode scanning supported. PACS connection test C-ECHO connectivity check supported. Modality presets Save frequently used body parts and modality types as presets (up to 3). Custom transmission tags Configure institution name, station name, and operator name per PACS. Transmission history & logs View past transmission records and detailed DICOM communication logs. Each sent as a separate series. Share from other apps Import via "Send to MediShot" from Photos or file sharing (Share Extension). MWM (Modality Worklist) integration Retrieve patient info from a worklist server and send images linked to the order. Scheduled transmission Queue images to send later, with conditions like Wi-Fi only or charging only. Audit log CSV export Export transmission history as CSV (14 fields: patient ID, date/time, count, result, etc.) for record-keeping and incident investigation. Expanded limits PACS destinations: 10 (free: 1) · Modality presets: 10 (free: 3) · Images per transmission: 50 (free: 5) · Multiple saved station/operator names (free: 1 each) Privacy & Security Patient information is stored on-device only when transmission history or logs are enabled. Stored data can be protected via Face ID / Touch ID (disabled by default). Images and patient information are never sent to any cloud service other than the configured PACS destination. Data protection via SwiftData File Protection. Communication logs disabled by default. About Subscriptions MediShot Pro is available as a Monthly or Annual auto-renewing subscription.
