DrillCheck Metal Detector
Wall scanner before drilling
Free · In‑App Purchases · Designed for iPad. Not verified for macOS.
Check walls before drilling with a clean magnetic scanner, peak tracking, sensitivity control and Pro alerts for stronger readings.
DrillCheck helps you check walls before drilling by using the magnetic sensor in your iPhone.
Move your phone slowly across a wall and watch for magnetic changes that may indicate screws, nails, ferromagnetic metal or magnetic anomalies. DrillCheck gives you a clear visual meter, peak tracking, sensitivity control and saved scan points so you can review suspicious areas before making a hole.
Key features:
• Real-time magnetic field scanner
• Designed for wall checks before drilling
• Peak reading and magnetic change meter
• Sensitivity control
• Saved scan history
• Haptic and progressive sound alerts with Pro
• Clean dark interface built for quick use
• No ads with Pro
Important: DrillCheck detects magnetic field changes. It can help identify ferromagnetic metal and magnetic anomalies, but it cannot guarantee detection of electrical wires, copper pipes, plastic pipes or every hidden object. Always use caution before drilling.
• Added a new consent system and privacy options for advertising.
• Ads now adapt better to iPhone, iPad, and different window sizes.
• Improved ad presentation while using the scanner.
