Type or paste a phrase, choose your languages and translate on your device. Check a booking message, write a question for your hotel, ask about the next stop and work out an everyday instruction. Copy or share the result when you want to use it in another app. Type or paste text for free in supported language pairs.
READ MENUS AND SIGNS WITH PREMIUM
A menu you cannot read? A sign you want to check? Use Camera for supported printed text, or choose a photo you already have. Get help with the words without typing every line. Camera and photo translation are included in Premium; supported languages differ from typed translation.

Choose a language for each person and take turns speaking with Talk. Follow the recognized text and translation, with spoken replies on supported devices and languages. For one quick phrase, use the microphone in Translate instead of typing. Voice input and Talk are included in Premium.
FIND ANOTHER WAY TO SAY IT
Want a more polite request or help understanding a phrase? Ask the offline AI Assistant to explain wording or suggest another way to say it, then follow up for more context. Assistant runs on your device and is included in Premium. It has no web access or live information, so it cannot check current opening hours or make bookings.
SAVE THE WORDS YOU WILL USE AGAIN
Keep your usual coffee order, a hotel question or a thank-you for later. Save useful translations, revisit recent ones and copy or share the result. Build your own collection from the phrases you need. Revisit familiar words when you want to order again or ask a similar question.
GET READY IN THREE STEPS
1. Choose your language pair and begin with typed or pasted text.
2. Prepare the resources for your languages while you have internet and enough storage. Camera, Talk and Assistant require the free offline translator download, about 2.2 GB. System language and speech resources may also need setup.
3. Try your chosen features offline before the trip. If you want Camera, voice, Talk or Assistant, choose Premium in the app. The free download and the Premium subscription are separate.
WILL IT WORK FOR MY TRIP?
Translate typed text in supported language pairs, with languages including English, Spanish, French, German, Italian and Japanese. Availability varies by language pair, direction, device and feature. Camera and speech do not cover every typed language, and some typed languages are experimental. Check your pair and available features in the app. Offlinguo requires iOS or iPadOS 18 or later.
START FREE. CHOOSE PREMIUM WHEN YOU NEED IT
Free typed translation is a useful place to begin. Monthly and Yearly Premium include the same tools: voice input, Camera and photo translation, Talk and Assistant. Choose Monthly for a shorter period or Yearly for repeated journeys. Both plans unlock the same features; choose how long you want Premium access. Prices and any eligible offers are shown before purchase, so you can decide with the full details in front of you.
Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled. Manage or cancel them in your Apple Account settings. Purchases and restores require access to the App Store. Translation and Assistant work on your device after setup; see the Privacy Policy for details about data practices.
Translations and AI responses can contain mistakes. Verify important information before relying on it.

Offlinguo now offers its interface in 11 languages: English, French, Spanish, German, Italian, Brazilian Portuguese, Japanese, Korean, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese and Arabic.
Choose the app language on the first welcome page or change it later in Settings. Your translation languages, typed text and saved content stay unchanged when you switch.
Arabic includes a right-to-left interface. Interface languages are separate from the languages supported for translation, camera and speech.
