Ekkoes 2.0.5 Sound Postcard videos now end exactly when their audio ends. This update fixes exports that could continue displaying the image after the sound had finished. Thank you for using Ekkoes.

Ekkoes 2.0.4 This update makes the purpose of Ekkoes clearer for new listeners. • A refreshed App Store presentation focused on recording sounds with photos and places. • Clearer explanations of the private sound map, audio diary, and field recording features. • Your recordings, iCloud library, and purchases are unchanged. If Ekkoes helps you keep a meaningful sound, a rating makes it easier for others to discover it. Thank you.

Ekkoes 2.0.3 This update introduces a refreshed App Store presentation, centered on the memories and echoes preserved in every recording. Your sounds, photos, and places remain exactly where you left them.

Ekkoes 2.0.2 This update refreshes the links to support, the Privacy Policy, and app information.

Ekkoes 2.0.1 This update improves localization throughout the app. • Fixed untranslated text when sharing recordings with Shared Groups. • Completed translations in Settings, iCloud status and recovery messages, subscription screens, recording details, and Home Screen quick actions. • Improved localization consistency across every supported language.

Introducing Ekkoes 2.0 My Sound Library is now Ekkoes on the US App Store and Ekkos after installation—a new identity for the same personal sound archive. • A new name, icon, and product presentation. • On-device audio improvement: trim silence, focus voices, reduce wind and noise, or polish music while keeping the original. • Shared Groups for trips, families, and projects, synchronized through iCloud. • Sound Postcards you can share as video, audio, or an importable .soniclib archive. • More reliable iCloud invitations, synchronization, and cleanup. • Accessibility, stability, and interface refinements throughout the app. Your recordings and purchases stay exactly where they are.

New in 1.10.0 • Identify music in any recording with Shazam, then open matched songs in Apple Music. • Shared recordings now appear only once in your library, even when shared through multiple groups. • Group changes synchronize more reliably. Recordings are removed when a group is unshared, deleted, or no longer available—unless you still have access through another group. • Improved data protection, error handling, and overall stability.

New in 1.9.2 • Discover our other apps, Rekko and Reliquum, directly from Settings. • Small refinements and stability improvements. • Enjoying My Sound Library? A quick rating helps other people discover it — thank you!

New in 1.9 • Chain enhancements: apply one effect, then stack another on top. Voice Focus, then Amplify, then Trim Silence — build up exactly the sound you want, one step at a time. • Amplify: rescue a recording that came out too quiet. • Reduce: tame a recording that's too loud or saturated. • Compare Before and After at every step — and your untouched original is always one tap away with Revert.

New in 1.8 • Improve Recording: clean up a recording entirely on your device — your audio never leaves your phone. • Voice Focus: an on-device neural network brings voices forward and hushes the background (cicadas, traffic, chatter). • Wind & Noise cuts rumble and hiss, Trim Silence removes the dead air at the start and end, and Music Polish evens out recorded music. • Compare before you commit: A/B the original and the enhanced version, apply, and revert anytime — your original is kept until you discard it. • Shared groups are more reliable: renames reach every member, duplicate recordings are gone, and syncing uses less data and battery.

New in 1.7 • Shared groups: invite friends and family and build a sound collection together — everyone can add their own recordings. • Get notified when someone adds a new sound to a shared group. • See what's new: "New" badges mark the shared sounds — and groups — you haven't played yet, and clear once you listen. • Instant welcome: joining a group opens it straight away and pulls in its sounds and cover. • More reliable syncing keeps shared groups in step across all your devices.

New in 1.6 • Guided tours: the first time you open each screen, hand-drawn tips point out the key gestures. • Reposition your photos: pinch to zoom, drag to reframe, and mirror selfies — your framing now appears everywhere, from the library to Sound Postcards. • Sharper Sound Postcards: shared videos are higher resolution, with crisp text and photos. • Immersive playback: tap a photo to fill the screen and play; tap again to show the controls. • Fixes: photos in groups are restored on a fresh install, group covers refresh reliably, and large photos no longer overflow the group screen.

Improvements to the app.

This update brings accessibility, privacy, and performance improvements. With VoiceOver, you can now scrub through playback with spoken feedback, and your recording level, timer, and play/pause state are announced as you go. Text scales better with your chosen text size. We've also made sharing and importing recordings safer and more reliable. Plus faster Library scrolling, smoother Map navigation, a more responsive Search, and a new Language shortcut in Settings to quickly change the app's language. Thank you for using My Sound Library.
