This update introduces improvements to player memberships and account access, along with general performance and experience enhancements.

Players can now subscribe for $1.99 per month to unlock full access. Coaches, scouts, clubs, and agents continue to use FirstLook free. Everyone who joined FirstLook before this update keeps full access permanently, at no cost. There is nothing to claim and nothing to do. Also in this release: • Clearer messaging when uploading a reel or swiping needs an active subscription • Updated privacy policy, including California privacy rights and details on what happens to your data when you delete your account

We're always making changes and improvements to FirstLook. To make sure you don't miss a thing, keep automatic updates turned on. FASTER TO OPEN FirstLook no longer makes you wait to look at it. The discovery feed starts loading the moment the app opens rather than when you tap Feed, the next reel is prepared while you are still watching the current one, and Matches, Messages and conversations open straight to their content instead of a loading spinner. PLAYERS YOU PASSED The Passed screen is now the same experience as the main feed — full reel playback, the player's details, and the same reporting control. If you change your mind about a player you passed on, you can express interest from there, and the player is notified properly when you do. FEED • A player's name and details now travel with their card as you swipe, instead of appearing briefly over the next player • The reel introduction card is back, and no longer restarts when the screen updates • Reel playback controls are no longer covered by the card beneath them • A feed that is still loading is no longer described as unavailable FIXES • Notification registration no longer retries in a loop in the background • The Scout List opens without waiting on information it does not need

NOTIFICATIONS You'll now be notified when a coach or scout is interested in your reel, when you match, and when a new message arrives. Unread counts appear on the Matches and Messages tabs and on the app icon, and clear as soon as you have read them. NEWS FROM FIRSTLOOK Announcements from the FirstLook team now appear pinned at the top of your Home screen. FOR COACHES, SCOUTS, CLUBS AND AGENTS • Filter the discovery feed by gender • Your filters are remembered between sessions and across devices • The Scout List is now a live breakdown of who is recruiting on FirstLook, filterable by women's or men's program • Profiles now include Program, the association you represent, and your role MATCHES AND MESSAGES • Remove a match from your own list without affecting the other person • Clear a conversation while keeping the match FIXES • Your profile photo now appears the first time you upload it • The role-select screen no longer flashes when the app opens • A proper FirstLook loading screen instead of a plain spinner • Show or hide your password while typing • New coaches and scouts see "How the feed works" on their first visit to the feed

Fixes sign-up with email and password. Creating an account with an email address was not working — the sign-up screen returned you to the login screen. Signing up and signing in with email now work, along with password reset and email verification.
