Say hello to "first crack." Pull to refresh or switch cities and your coffee bean now cracks open as things load, the roasting moment the app is named for, then reseals once it's ready. We freshened up the app icon to match, too.

This update fine-tunes the map and improves reliability: • The map now stays at a useful zoom level instead of zooming all the way out to a global view. • Fixed a rare freeze and tightened up overall stability.

Smoother moves between cities. The map's loading animation now plays cleanly every time you switch or reopen, and your coffee spots are ready the moment it clears.

If our servers ever have an off morning, the app now gives you a clear heads-up and reconnects on its own, instead of leaving you on a loading screen. Your saved spots stay available the whole time.
