New - The stage page now shows who is playing right now, with the time left. Useful for stages with dozens of performances a day. - Ticket shop, FAQ and merchandise now appear as buttons on the festival page, where the festival offers them. - A b2b set now shows every artist taking part. Tap through to each one to see where else they are playing. Improved - Small offline updates now happen without asking. If an update is small the app applies it quietly; only larger ones still ask for confirmation. - The storage estimate is now correct. Where the app used to report 23 MB, the real size is 8. - If saving goes wrong, you can now send a diagnostic report straight away instead of only seeing a technical message. Fixed - Ratings, favourites and notes sometimes stopped being saved. After a long break with the app in the background, iOS closes the local database. The app did not notice and kept failing until you restarted it. - A performance could show an absurd remaining time because the source supplied the wrong end date. Those errors are now corrected. - The app could get stuck on the loading screen at startup. That can no longer happen: the loading screen always clears, and if startup really does fail you get an explanation and can send a diagnostic report right away. - An artist appearing only in a collaboration showed "no times yet" even though they were on the line-up. - Leaving the map could produce an error message. The map pans along when it follows your position, and that movement kept running after the map had already been torn down.

Quite a bit has been cleaned up since the previous App Store version (1.6.2). Offline - Festival logos vanished right after the app started. An offline pack could point to images that were no longer there, and the app preferred that broken copy over the normal one. Fixed at the source; the app now falls back to the network on its own. - The prompt to update your offline packs came back at every launch, even right after updating. - A failed offline install no longer costs you the pack you already had. - The "Save for offline" button sometimes claimed a festival was not saved when it was. Sharing your location with friends - The app now asks for permission the moment you turn it on, instead of when you open the map. - Sharing starts right away rather than at the next check. - Turning sharing off now also clears the per-friend switches. - New: share outside festival hours and off-site too, handy while travelling or at a campsite nearby. - Without location permission, the map explains what is not working and where to turn it on. Also - The festival list can be sorted, and "All festivals" jumps to today. - The timetable block view now fills the full width. - Artists with an accent or umlaut in their name got no resized photo. - Devices not set to Dutch now get English.

New: - Waterpop 2026 (Wateringen, 7 and 8 August) is in the app: full timetable with set times, bios and photos from the festival site itself, its own look and the stages on the Hofpark map. - Fully offline: every artist page (bio, photo, set times, preview tracks), the festival list, info blocks and announcements now work without internet. - Offline packs update smartly: on startup the app asks whether to update your saved festivals, then downloads only the changed data. - If a festival starts within a week, the app suggests saving it offline. - Timetable: new "where am I" button jumps to the nearest stage using GPS, and the performance happening right now is highlighted. - Something stuck? Faster and easier to read: - The app feels noticeably faster thanks to background preloading and smarter caching; polished loading screens replace the "Loading..." text. - The timetable block view now always uses the full width of your screen. - Ten festival themes were made easier to read; new colour schemes are automatically checked for contrast. - Zwarte Cross: hundreds of artist photos now load fast and reliably. Fixed: - The festival list is always available offline, including your starred festivals, with upcoming festivals on top and clean placeholders for logos that fail to load. - Without internet you now see a clear message in your own language instead of "Network Error". - Rating and category buttons could get stuck (for example on "Not for me") after a network hiccup or corrupted storage; the app now repairs this itself and shows errors. - The login window always opens on top, and the Spotify help text no longer stays stuck on screen. - Location sharing with friends works more reliably; friends' favourites count towards the timetable filter counter. - Various smaller improvements and security updates.

Improved - The timetable bar is much more compact: short day buttons (e.g. 'Fri 17'), view filters behind a filter button with a counter, and all buttons fit on one row again. - Timetable rows now scale: at festivals with few stages the rows grow taller, making better use of the screen and keeping text readable. - The map now fills the whole screen down to the menu, without empty space below it. - Page titles that duplicated the bottom menu have been removed, freeing up space on every page. - The Werfpop festival map now shows all facilities: food, bars, toilets, first aid, cup return, info, kids area, entrances, exits and emergency exits. - Artist descriptions have been cleaned up: unclear texts about namesakes were replaced with a proper description or removed.
