EON - Subscription Tracker
Track subscriptions & renewals
Free · In‑App Purchases · Designed for iPad. Not verified for macOS.
EON keeps every subscription in one place, so you're never blindsided by a trial you forgot to cancel, a membership that quietly raised its price, or a charge you don't recognize.
SEE YOUR SPENDING AT A GLANCE
The home screen shows exactly what you'll spend this month, quarter, and year. Monthly average and lifetime total, all upfront.
REMINDERS BEFORE EVERY CHARGE
Set a custom lead time for each subscription. Get notified before a free trial ends or an annual plan renews — you stay in control.
MULTI-CURRENCY WITH DAILY RATES
USD, JPY, EUR and more are converted to your home currency automatically, with exchange rates refreshed daily.
BILLING CALENDAR
See which charge lands on which day across the month, each marked with its subscription icon.
BEAUTIFUL SUBSCRIPTION CARDS
Auto-fetch official app icons by searching the App Store, or pick your own from Photos. Cards tint to each icon's color.
HOME & LOCK SCREEN WIDGETS
Check your next charge and monthly total without opening the app.
ICLOUD SYNC
Your data syncs across devices through your own iCloud — no account required.
PRIVACY FIRST
No account, no servers, no tracking. Your data lives only on your device and in your own iCloud. The developer never sees it.
EON is completely free with no paywall. If it saves you a few bucks, you're welcome to buy the developer a coffee — entirely optional, unlocks nothing.
more What’s New
• Clearer storage management: temporary export copies older than 24 hours are cleaned up automatically. Shares created during the current app session are protected, and subscriptions, icons and saved backups are kept intact.
• Newly saved icons use less unnecessary storage.
• Spending categories now use a proportional chart. Small categories are grouped for display, while each original category remains available as a filter.
• Month, quarter, year and All selections stay in sync across Categories, Overview and Subscriptions. The All list also includes paused, stopped and archived subscriptions.
• JSON backups now restore manual ordering, with or without icons. Partial imports preserve the relative order of unrelated subscriptions.
• Spending details and the timeline show the latest 5 entries, with 20 more available at a time and an option to collapse them. Totals still include the full history, and you can add events from the top of the detail screen.
1.2.5 3d ago
Version 1.2.4 brings new features and bug fixes:
• A new All view brings your spending history together.
• Drag to reorder subscriptions, with view options, filters and sorting in one menu.
• Customize overview cards and see shared bill amounts more clearly.
• Improved iPhone Duo display transitions and partially folded layouts.
1.2.4 5d ago
This update improves the details you use every day:
• Fixed decimal input and the last digit sometimes being lost when saving immediately after typing. Regions that use a decimal comma are supported too.
• Reorganized currency settings: manage your default currency and favorites separately, and search currencies such as SGD by code or name. The favorites-only switch is clearly disabled when no favorites are selected.
• Fixed jumping and clipped headers when switching between month and year in the subscription calendar.
• Refined Lock Screen widget typography and alignment, making subscription names and days remaining clearer while keeping the moon-phase designs.
• Fixed deleted categories and hidden dashboard sections returning after relaunch, and improved how iCloud sync handles older data and intentional restorations.
• Fixed the last digit of a custom billing cycle sometimes being lost on immediate save, and shortened repetitive settings explanations.
EON is completely free. In-App Purchases are optional tips and do not affect any features.
1.2.3 Oct 18
• Refreshed settings, subscription details and editing screens with consistent cards, spacing and typography, plus better dark mode and larger text layouts.
• Pin or unpin multiple subscriptions at once.
• Use favorite currencies for timeline price changes and extra expenses. Custom billing cycles now support up to 3,660 days.
• Improved long-note editing and fixed the keyboard covering the sort menu.
• Fixed entered details being lost after a timeline event failed validation.
• Improved JSON backup exports with icons and reduced repeated calculations in large subscription lists.
• Simplified Little Toys and fixed flickering when switching emoji ball styles.
1.2.2 Oct 15
• New: About moon phases. In Settings → About, see how the real moon moves through its phases and which part of that EON borrows.
• Fixed cards with two status badges stretching past the edge of the screen in the card view.
• Fixed the end of the Recurring section not showing in the card view when grouped by type with many subscriptions.
• Answers in “How It Works” now line up with their questions.
• The “What’s new” sheet no longer appears again after a small update.
• Swiping sideways on spending categories and the subscription calendar no longer gets in the way of scrolling.
1.2.1 Oct 12
Every subscription has its moon.
MOON PHASES
• The closer the charge, the fuller the moon — full on billing day. You’ll see it in the compact views and on the Upcoming cards.
• Subscription details now open with a full cycle of moons around the icon, name and countdown. For long cycles such as yearly plans, the moon starts growing in the last 30 days.
• New widgets: Subscription Moon (small and medium on the Home Screen, circular and rectangular on the Lock Screen), Subscription Orbits, and an Upcoming timeline that supports the extra-large size in iOS 27.
• Settings → Little Toys → Subscription Orbits: your next charges drawn as orbits, shareable as an image.
• A new app icon. It’s dark by default; switch to Auto or Light in Settings → Appearance.
NEW
• Record a plan upgrade or downgrade in one step: “Restart Cycle” in the timeline starts the new cycle that day, and you can enter the difference you paid.
• Split subscriptions can show the full bill next to your share (Settings → Currency).
• Paid so far now shows subscriptions and one-time purchases separately.
• Export JSON with icons, so custom icons survive a move to a new phone.
• A new “How It Works” page in Settings.
IMPROVED
• Filters stay open while you pick several.
• The tab bar minimizes as you scroll down (iOS 26 and later).
• Identical in-app purchases made on the same day are merged into one row.
• Type the number of days directly when changing to a custom cycle.
• Import understands more ways of writing a cycle: lifetime, semi-annual, every 3 months…
FIXED
• All cards occasionally turned the same colour after returning to the app.
• Scrolling a list sometimes pressed a card instead of scrolling.
• “Cycle not recognized” when importing a file.
• Status badges wrapping onto two lines.
1.2.0 Oct 11
New
• Upcoming is now a stack of cards — swipe to flip to the next charge. Tap through for a timeline showing how many days are left for every charge in the next 7, 30 or 90 days.
• A full-screen Subscription Calendar: see what's due each day in Month view, or the whole year at a glance in Year view.
• Two new views for the Subscriptions tab: Compact List and Compact Cards fit more on one screen.
• Cost Sharing: set how many people share a family or group plan, and totals count only your share.
• Pick card colors yourself, or blend two or three into a gradient. Automatic colors are more accurate for white and black icons.
• Favorite Currencies: keep the ones you use at the top, or show only your favorites when picking.
• Cards show how far along the current billing period is, in each subscription's own color, and a swipe lets you pin, mark as paid, archive or delete.
• Delete a subscription right from the edit screen.
• Select multiple subscriptions and delete them in one go.
• Change the price and billing cycle in a single timeline event. In-app purchases can be free and keep their original price.
• Tap anything in subscription details to copy it.
• American Express is now a built-in payment method.
Improved
• A fresh set of icons throughout the app.
• Better layouts for the new screens on iPad and Mac.
Fixed
• Currencies like the Australian dollar sometimes showed as just "$".
• Add-ons bought after a one-time purchase weren't included in its card amount or the list total.
• The Recurring section couldn't be collapsed when grouping by type.
EON is completely free. The In-App Purchases on the store page are optional tips only — every feature works without them.
1.1.12 Sep 25
A redesigned Add Subscription screen: name and amount now sit right at the top in large type — just start typing. Currency and billing cycle are tappable pills, and one-time purchases live in the cycle menu.
• Sub Persona has moved to Settings → Little Toys and opens as a sheet, so its buttons are never cut off on smaller iPhones
• Card colours now match each subscription's icon
• Archiving a subscription tells you where to restore it
• Ready for iOS 27: the Add button is its own capsule again, and Cancel / Save on the Add screen are always visible
Fixes
• Some subscriptions disappeared when re-importing a large list after erasing data
• Tapping Filter or Sort on the Subscriptions tab brought up the keyboard
• More reliable iCloud sync when switching accounts, on first sync, and when iCloud storage is full
• On Mac, the list now fits the actual window width when you make the window narrow
1.1.11 Sep 18
New
• Icon library: 210 built-in icons for popular services, sorted by category, including ones the App Store can't find (iCloud+ and more)
• Manual renewals: tick to mark a period paid, pay ahead of time, and Upcoming moves on to the next period
• Text-only Overview: turn every panel into one neatly typeset summary
• Smarter search: exact category matches, pinyin across categories and notes, and search by amount, payment method or archived subscriptions
• 22 new currencies, with decimals shown per currency
• "iCloud & Data" gains "Erase All Data" (double confirmation) and "Use This Device's Data"
• Now runs on iOS 17; the Mac app uses a native sidebar
Fixed
• Lifetime spending now lists real charges by price period instead of "average × count"
• iCloud could never converge when two devices each held old data; failed syncs no longer report success
• Icon sync getting stuck, and the Mac syncing only one icon
• Export skipped paused subscriptions; importing EON's own JSON dropped fields
• Lifetime ranking didn't match its detail page; card view stopped at 40 items
• Renaming a category silently changed its colour
1.1.10 Sep 12
• Fixed subscriptions missing from the list in card view
• Fixed the Paid so far ranking not matching its detail page
• Fixed export/import losing paused subscriptions, notes and history
• Fixed icons never syncing from iCloud on some devices
• Clearer iCloud sync status, including how many subscriptions are in iCloud
• Added 22 currencies, with decimals shown per currency
• Now supports iOS 17
1.1.9 Sep 3
New
• Text Mode for the Overview — turn every card into one neatly typeset summary, with the numbers set inside the sentences and a category receipt at the end.
• Categories rebuilt: built-in and custom ones are now equals — rename, recolour, reorder or delete any of them.
• Sharper search: search by category, Pinyin now covers categories and notes, and amounts, payment methods and archived subscriptions are searchable too.
• Plus 10 smaller improvements from your feedback, including delete confirmation, dual-currency display and tapping the total to see its breakdown.
Fixed
• Opening the subscription list froze for 3.5 seconds.
• Dropped frames when switching tabs.
• Search returned subscriptions that weren't actually in the category you searched for.
• Five personality illustrations never loaded, leaving a white block on the card.
• Renaming a category silently changed its colour too.
• On iPad and Mac, the Trash, Overview Layout and Storage screens couldn't be reached at all.
1.1.8 Aug 28
· Rebuilt iCloud sync — changes on different devices no longer overwrite each other
· New Trash: deleted subscriptions are kept for 30 days and can be restored anytime
· Reorder or hide panels on the Overview
· Edit, Duplicate and Pin on subscription cards; filter the list by type and status
· Categories, payment methods and favourite currencies now sync via iCloud too
· Fixes for icons falling back to letters, pasting adding a space, and text input
1.1.7 Aug 10
New
• One-time purchases — log buy-once software and lifetime licences as one-time: always active, never counted in your monthly average.
• Notes — keep the account, the deal or who you share it with on the subscription. Visible in the list and searchable.
• Subscription Calendar widget — a full month grid with each charge day marked by that subscription's icon.
• Chinese subscriptions can be searched by pinyin, in full or just the initials.
Fixed
• Search returned nothing when using a third-party keyboard.
• Widgets showed sample data before syncing and lost charge markers after a month change.
• Some subscriptions never delivered a renewal reminder.
1.1.6 Aug 5
• Every subscription now has its own timeline: price changes, pauses, skipped cycles, extra purchases and cancellations — the statistics follow along.
• Spending is split by price, so a price change no longer rewrites your past charges.
• Mark manual renewals as paid one by one; anything unpaid is gathered on the home screen, with an optional reminder once it's overdue.
• Money an archived subscription spent while it was active now stays in your statistics.
• The trend chart now counts charges on the day they actually happen (yearly plans land in their renewal month; the monthly average is still amortised).
• Fixed: the start date still showing its old value after saving (affected data is repaired automatically), renewal reminders not being delivered for some subscriptions, the search button not responding while a Chinese input method had uncommitted text, widget dates not updating, and the unreadable "Save" button on iOS 26.
1.1.5 Jul 27
• New "Every 6 months" billing cycle; custom cycles now support day / week / month / year (e.g. "every 2 months", "every 3 weeks")
• Refreshed exchange-rate data for more accurate offline conversion (fixed drift on Turkish lira and more)
• Fixed: start date not saving when edited after creating a subscription
