SnapTrans is a simple screen translation app for macOS. Capture any selected area of your screen, recognize text from the image, and translate it quickly in a clean floating window.

SnapTrans does not require or support third-party API keys in the App Store version. Users do not need to enter OpenAI, Gemini, Claude, DeepSeek, OpenRouter, Ollama, LM Studio, or any external provider keys.

SnapTrans Cloud Monthly Plans
SnapTrans Cloud Monthly plans are auto-renewable monthly subscriptions that provide monthly SnapTrans Cloud translation usage.
Available monthly plans:
• Basic Monthly — 50,000 characters per month
• Plus Monthly — 150,000 characters per month
• Pro Monthly — 300,000 characters per month
SnapTrans Cloud monthly subscriptions are used for SnapTrans Cloud translation usage only. They do not require any API key setup.
Subscription Information:
Payment will be charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions automatically renew monthly unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel your subscriptions in your App Store account settings.
Privacy:
SnapTrans only processes the text you choose to capture and translate. Screen content is captured only when you start a translation. SnapTrans does not continuously record or monitor your screen.
