Twenty blinds. One cursed estate. Stack chips, multiply mults, and unlock new family heirs every run. The gothic poker roguelike for your pocket. Blackwood Card Roguelike — Poker, Jokers & Family Heirs The candles are lit. The deck is dealt. At the Blackwood estate, every blind remembers the last hand — and so does the family. Blackwood is a gothic card roguelike built around the poker hands you already know. Play five-card hands, stack chips, multiply mults, and survive twenty blinds across every run. Every win earns gold, every gold buys jokers, and every joker bends the rules of the table a little more in your favor — until the boss blind tries to break them back. CORE LOOP • Build a hand from your selected cards each round. • Score with classic poker hands — High Card to Royal Flush. • Beat Small, Big and Boss Blinds across rising antes. • Spend gold in the Parlor between blinds on jokers, tarots and vouchers. DEEP RUNS • 20+ family heirloom jokers, each rewriting the math of your hands. • Tarot and Spectral cards that mutate your deck mid-run. • Boss blinds with cruel, signature rules — disabled suits, capped chips, locked hands. • A growing meta of unlockable family heirs, each with a unique starting twist. BUILT FOR YOUR PHONE • Designed for iPhone. Quick to pick up, hard to put down. • One-handed play with tactile haptics and gentle, readable motion. • Optional Reduced Motion mode and high-contrast HUD. • Local saves — no account needed, no ads, no internet required. A family of fortune. A house of cards. A roguelike for anyone who has ever wanted “just one more hand.”
