Nudge: ADHD Screen Time Pause
Mindful App Pause & Focus
Free · In‑App Purchases · Designed for iPad. Not verified for macOS.
Built for ADHD brains that tap before they think. Nudge pauses you for a few seconds before TikTok or Instagram opens — so you choose, instead of just scrolling.
You don't decide to open Instagram. Your thumb just does it.
Nudge is built specifically for ADHD brains that act before they think. It's not a blocker. It's a pause — a few seconds of space between the tap and the scroll, so you can actually choose.
HOW IT WORKS
→ Pick the apps that steal your time — Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, X, Snapchat, or anything else
→ When you open one, Nudge gently interrupts with a short pause
→ Choose how it pauses you: a countdown, a quick "why am I opening this?" check-in, a breathing moment, or a short reflection
→ Then decide — continue in, or go back. No shame either way.
WHY IT'S DIFFERENT
Most screen time apps lock you out completely. That works for a few days, then you turn it off out of frustration.
Nudge doesn't fight you. It just asks you to notice. That one small moment — built on real behavioral research — is enough to break the autopilot loop most ADHD brains get stuck in.
BUILT FOR HOW YOUR BRAIN ACTUALLY WORKS
- No shame, no lectures — just a gentle check-in
- Pick your pause style: countdown, intention check, breathing, or reflection
- See your daily streaks and how much time you've reclaimed
- Track your patterns — when you scroll most, which apps pull you in, what's working
- Works fully offline, your data stays on your device
WHAT PEOPLE WITH ADHD ARE SAYING
"I've tried every blocker. They all made me feel punished. This one just makes me pause — and that's actually enough."
"The 'why am I opening this' question is the first thing that's ever made me put my phone down before I even started scrolling."
GET STARTED IN UNDER 2 MINUTES
