Vantage 44 puts you in charge of emergency line dispatch during a storm that will not let up. Every shift brings faults you must diagnose before you decide anything. Call up the inspection lamp to search a pole by hand. Reposition it, adjust the light angle, and switch between normal, UV and thermal modes to reveal what the automatic sensors missed. Open the line monitor to read live telemetry and bring two linked regulators into a drifting safe corridor before you can call a segment dead. Only when both instruments have been consulted does the dispatch lever unlock. Throw it toward De energize First, Repair Live, or Defer. Every decision carries weight. Reliability across the grid rises and falls with your judgment, and a wrong call can send a crew into a live line. As the storm builds, more faults arrive at once, the automatic sensors grow less trustworthy, and your instruments start needing recalibration mid shift. A dispatch terminal logs everything happening on your watch in real time, and a crew radio lets you catch a word from the field between cases.
