Built by Apple specialists for people who just want the content. The web wasn't designed for paper. Articles are surrounded by sidebars, banners, "related stories," pop-ups, ad blocks, and navigation menus. Try to print one and you'll waste pages of ink on junk you don't want. Strip It removes all of that in seconds. What's left is the thing you came for — the article, the recipe, the profile — formatted for clean reading and beautiful printing. Plus: LinkedIn profiles, finally readable. Most extensions can't handle LinkedIn — the page structure is too complex. Strip It uses on-demand AI to turn any LinkedIn profile into a clean résumé-style document. Experience, education, skills, all readable on one page. On lecture pages with a transcript, it returns organized study notes instead — handy for students. HOW IT WORKS Open any web page in Safari. Click the green Strip It icon in your toolbar. Strip It identifies the content, removes the clutter, and shows you a clean version. Press ⌘P to print or save as PDF. That's it. No setup, no rules to configure, no learning curve. HOW STRIP IT IS DIFFERENT Safari's built-in Reader Mode hides clutter, but only on simple article pages — and it silently fails on many sites. Strip It rebuilds the page from scratch, works on more sites, and produces better print results. Other print-cleaning extensions exist, but they're built for Chrome first. Two features do use AI on our server: cleaning a LinkedIn profile, and the Summarize button. When you use either, the page's text is sent briefly to our server, processed by AI, then discarded.
