Hayloft is an AI-powered interactive storytelling app built for memorable character conversations, evolving scenes, and long-running stories. Create or discover a character, cast, or world, choose a scene, and shape what happens next.
Choose from three Experience types:
• Character — a story centered on one primary fictional character
• Ensemble — a story with multiple cast members
• World / Narrator — a setting led by a narrator with its own characters and locations
Make each story yours:
• Create private Personas that describe who you want to be in a story
• Start from a suggested reply or write your own response
• Regenerate openings and replies when you want a different direction
• Use Story So Far and memory tools to track important details
• Review and correct tracked scene details without rewriting the conversation
• Pin important moments, fix lore, and bring unresolved story threads back naturally
• Upload an image, generate a moderated avatar, or continue without one
• Discover public experiences created by the community
Hayloft’s Memory Engine keeps track of Story So Far recaps, current scene details, relationship and group changes, lore corrections, pinned memories, and long-running story threads. Recent conversation context keeps the active scene moving while durable memory supports longer stories.
Creation can continue while you use other parts of the app, and Hayloft lets you know when it is ready. Whether a story starts in a busy café, a quiet apartment, a fantasy kingdom, or somewhere stranger, Hayloft is built to keep it moving.
All conversations are with AI-generated fictional characters. Characters are not real people, and AI responses may be fictional, inaccurate, inconsistent, or unexpected. User-created characters, scenes, and public experiences may include user-generated or AI-generated content. Hayloft includes reporting tools and safety systems for public community content.
