Social sleep tracking with friends — sync your watch, share nights, challenge each other!
Slumber syncs your sleep and turns it into something you share with friends!
SYNC & POST
Read sleep from Apple Health or Health Connect (Apple Watch, Pixel Watch, Oura, Garmin, Whoop, Fitbit, Samsung Health, and more), or connect Google Health when your wearable syncs there instead. Pick your data source in Settings. Each post is a sleep session — overnight 10pm–7am belongs to the morning you woke up; an afternoon nap is its own post that day, labeled Nap vs Overnight. See stage breakdowns on a hypnogram. Add vibe, tags, dreams, notes, and photos. Log manually when you didn’t wear a tracker. Sleep History lists each session under that morning. Pull to refresh sleep data while logging. Offline? Save a night on your device and it syncs when you’re back online — Sleep History still remembers recent Posted nights. Share a night as an image — Feed Card or classic layouts, Light or Dark (including a transparent background), and Customize card to show or hide the watermark, location, personal-record badges, and other fields.
SOCIAL
Friends feed, kudos, and comments — like comments, reply via long-press, edit or delete your own. Comments support multiple lines (Return inserts a new line; the box grows as you type). Long-press kudos or comment likes to see who reacted. Tag sleep buddies on a post — friends you shared the night with; they confirm before it shows. Tap any post for full night details. Private posts show a Private badge beside the author; dream mood stays visible even when dream text is private.
Social tab: Leaderboards, Clubs, and Friends (with requests). Leaderboards has All-time (default) and Weekly boards for Avg hours, Avg Deep %, Avg REM %, Avg Core %, and dream rate — Weekly is a rolling 7-day window (not a calendar week). Place badges show ↑/↓ vs the same board 7 days ago (newcomers show ↑). You appear after enough wearable nights (5 all-time / 3 weekly). Your profile opens from the header avatar (Stats, Share, Settings). Hide yourself from Leaderboards anytime in Settings → Privacy → Appear on leaderboards. Opt out of contact matching with Findable by contacts.
DREAMS
Log dreams with an optional mood (Nightmare, Weird, Neutral, Good, Vivid). Blur private dreams so friends know you logged one — and still see the mood — without reading the text.
CHALLENGES
1-on-1 and group sleep challenges with friends. Compare consistency over the week.
CLUBS
Join sleep clubs, filter Feed / Challenges / Compare from the left floating bubble (shows your role and when the club was created; hidden until you have an accepted club), and open club analytics for last night (Premium unlocks week and month trends).
STATS
Averages, streaks, stage trends, and personal records (all-time and 30-day, each after at least five wearable nights in that scope, with how much you beat or missed a mark — including stage % highs/lows and shortest sleep; hide best/worst chips from friends in Settings → Privacy). Compare and profile count nights, not posts. Plus Rough nights, dream analytics, and friend Compare — open Compare from a friend’s profile or from Stats.
SAFETY
Report posts and comments, block users, delete your account in Settings. Questions or feature requests: Settings → email us.
REQUIREMENTS
Free account (email, magic link, or Google sign-in; Sign in with Apple on iOS). Wearable sync via Apple Health, Health Connect, and/or Google Health (your choice in Settings). Optional Contacts access only when you use Find from contacts. Slumber does not write sleep data to any health store.
more This is a fun and informative app. I wanted something that would report on my sleep that I could easily understand. This app does it well. Clean design and easy to use.

Good concept but very hard to connect Garmin to it, I still have not figured out how to do so. Also it is not compatible with androids which makes it hard to do group challenges.

Races show each sleep that counted
Progress bars on the Challenge tab and in race details mark every overnight and nap that scored — not only the total. You can see how the race filled in without opening someone’s private posts.
Sleep compatibility
The 0–100 score weighs bedtime and wake most, then how long you slept. Tap ⓘ for each factor’s match and points; expand a row to see you vs your friend. Whoop and other core-only nights still compare on clocks, duration, and wakes.
Racers who aren’t friends
On a Slumber or group race, people you aren’t friends with still show a username, photo, streak, and hours. Their posts stay hidden; the totals still count.
Also: notes, dreams, and club descriptions grow as you type, the same way comments do. Race cards show streaks next to usernames.

Widgets!
Add the Slumber widget in small, medium, or large. It shows last night: the date, hours asleep, bedtime to wake, kudos, and a stage bar. Medium and large also show Core, Deep, REM, and Awake. Tap Post sleep and it publishes without opening the app. The post is public, with a default title — the same night auto-publish would share. Add a vibe, notes, or a dream later by editing.
The widget needs iOS 17. Open Slumber once after you update so it can see last night. If auto-publish is on, a new night in Apple Health can post without you opening the app. If you’ve swiped Slumber away, open it once so that can run again.
Autoposting
In your user settings, you can now toggle "Autoposting" that will automatically post your nights to slumber without opening the app! :)

Faster all around
Slumber opens faster, and screens and sheets load the first time you open them. Social and Stats get ready in the background once your feed loads, and feed photos load ahead of time. Dreams on Stats loads when you open it. Compare and sleep compatibility load your friends’ stats in one go. Apple Health reads and the check for unlogged nights are quicker too.
Live badges
Notifications, friend requests, and club and race invites update the moment they arrive.
Races you can join late
Join a Slumber or open-link race after it starts. Nights and naps you already logged in the window count. After someone hits the goal, everyone has 24 hours to catch up.
Encrypted on your phone
What Slumber saves on your phone for offline browsing is now encrypted. The first launch after updating starts fresh, so your feed may take a moment to load that once.
Clear share images, redone
A Clear background now makes a sticker: one color of ink (white for Auto and Dark, black for Light), big stacked stats, one simple graphic, and a small SLUMBER mark. A Feed share matches the in-app sleep card. Posts show your night’s stages as a line — Clear graphs label Awake, REM, Core, and Deep — a monthly recap shows a bar for each night, and a race shows the goal bar. No shadows or cards. The preview shows a checkerboard so you can see what’s clear. Sharing a race now has the same Theme and Background options, including black ink.
Cleaner and more consistent
Placeholders instead of spinners while Sleep History, the sleep card when you log, race details and stats, club members, leaderboards, and club analytics load. Buttons and options look the same everywhere — selected chips and list rows use the same accent highlight. Empty screens put the action in the middle (Compare, New challenge). Sleep compatibility ⓘ is a You vs friend table, like you vs the club. Leaderboards pick a metric from one Rank by button. Club analytics is simpler: the headline numbers, stage mix, most consistent and night MVP, and you vs the club. Delete club is in the ⋯ menu. Grow your crew is quieter, with 3 suggestions. Stats, Share, and Settings on your profile have labels. Percentages and numbers line up in Stats charts, and Stats no longer shows the morning sleep banners. Streaks show next to usernames on Social → Friends, club members, and Compare people. Tap a club or custom-tag emoji to highlight it, then pick a replacement.
Your recap is ready
On the first of the month, if last month has at least 7 wearable nights, you get a notification and a Notifications row with a View recap link. Tap either one to open last month’s recap. The Stats badge and My Stats banner still stay up for the first 7 days.
Campaign images
Opening a campaign from the moon shows the banner at full width, with its real height — nothing is cropped.

My Stats is easier to scan
This week leads with your average sleep. The last 30 days is a simple list, with a quieter stage mix under it. Personal records are a list. Dreams sit in a card you can open.
Monthly recap
On Stats, open Monthly and tap a month. The card shows that month, your average sleep, a night-by-night graph, bedtime and wake, and stage percentages. When you have a match, it also shows your most compatible friend and their score out of 100. Wakes and best night are toggles you can turn on. Save or Share. Story or Square, Light / Dark / Auto, solid or clear background.
Your recap is ready
For the first 7 days of a month, if last month has at least 7 wearable nights, Stats shows a red 1 and a banner at the top of My Stats. It stays up for those 7 days. It isn’t in Notifications.
Sleep compatibility
A 0–100 score for how your last 30 days line up with a friend. My Stats shows your most compatible friend, and See more lists the rest. On a friend’s profile: Sleep Compatibility and the score out of 100, with an info button. The popup is one sentence on how the score is built, then each factor with a match percent and its points.
Custom tags open in a popup
+ Custom opens a small popup. Pick an emoji, name the tag, and tap Add. You see it right away (Pending). Friends see it after it’s approved.
Share images
Sharing a night and sharing a monthly recap use the same sheet: a preview, Share and Save, Story or Square, theme and background, and toggles for what shows on the card. Sharing a race still uses its own sheet.

Your own sleep tags
When you log a night, you can add a factor that isn’t on the list. Pick an emoji, name it, and tap Add. You’ll see it right away (marked Pending). Friends see it after it’s approved. Each emoji belongs to one tag, and the ones you use most show up first.
@mentions scroll
The friend list that appears when you type @ now scrolls, so you can reach everyone.
Campaigns in the header
When Slumber has something for you, the moon next to the logo pulses and shows how many are waiting. Tap it for a scrollable list — a race to join, a short note, or a link. A banner on your feed stays until you join or dismiss that one. They also show in Notifications until you respond.

Races hosted by Slumber
Some challenges are run by Slumber, not by a friend. The join sheet and the race say Hosted by Slumber.
Naps stay naps
If your watch only recorded a nap (no overnight), Slumber won’t ask you to update last night with that nap. Log the nap on its own instead.
Sleep History is one row per session
Every nap and overnight uses the same card — date, kind chip, clocks, and duration. No nested follow-up rows.

Dictate notes and dreams
Tap Dictate under Notes or Dream while logging — speak, and Slumber turns it into text. Edit anytime. Uses your phone’s speech recognition; we don’t keep a voice recording.
Logging is one session at a time
Logging today no longer overwrites yesterday when last night isn’t in Apple Health yet. A leftover nap won’t replace last night’s overnight. Notes, photos, and title apply even if that morning was auto-posted.
Share images save again
Save to Photos works for share cards with dreams (and Challenge Details → Share). Classic cards no longer clip the dream excerpt.
Unlogged stays in sync
The morning banner and + badge match Sleep History: leftover naps/overnights to log, plus posts that need a wearable Update — not double-counted. The banner disappears as soon as you post.
Two naps, two posts
If your watch recorded two or more daytime naps with a long awake stretch between them, each one is its own Nap — not one combined afternoon. Resync an existing combined nap to split it.
Nights land on the morning you woke up
Overnight 10pm–7am belongs to that morning, not yesterday’s bed date. An afternoon nap is its own post that day — it doesn’t fold into the next overnight. Logging from your wearable creates one post per session.

Nap vs Overnight
Each session is labeled Nap or Overnight on the feed, post detail, Sleep History (chip beside the date), and share images. Kind comes from your wearable — only one overnight per morning.
Stats stay night-shaped
Compare, profile, clubs, and the week chart count mornings, not extra nap posts. Nap minutes still count; bed and wake times follow the overnight.
Unlogged naps and overnights from the past week show on a banner and in notifications. The + badge counts sessions that still need a log or a wearable Update.
Tap a link in notes or comments on the feed or post detail to open it.

Sleep detection
Nights from wearables are more accurate — overlapping “asleep” blocks from Garmin and Whoop no longer inflate stages, and a real unstaged tail after stages still counts.
Challenges
Canceling or leaving a race clears leftover invites and notifications, so nobody is stuck with a dead invite. Lists and details are more stable.
Clearer posts
Private posts show a Private badge next to the author. Dream mood stays visible even when the dream text is private. Relative times read as “12m ago” (not just “12m”).
Stats & Compare
Stats and Compare load faster and use less data.
Find friends & grow your crew
Find from contacts privately matches people already on SlumberTurn Findable by contacts off anytime in Settings → Privacy. From Share (header avatar → Share) or Search, sync contacts to Add friends or Invite the rest via SMS.
Offline Save
No signal? Save a night on your device and it syncs when you’re back. Sleep History still shows "Posted" for recent nights offline, and social nudges stay out of the way until you’re connected.
Leaderboards
Newcomers on Leaderboards / club boards now show place diff instead of a blank delta when they weren’t on last week’s board.

Find from contacts privately matches people already on Slumber — we hash emails and phones on your device and never upload your address book. Turn Findable by contacts off anytime in Settings → Privacy. From Share (header avatar → Share) or Search, sync contacts to Add friends or Invite the rest via SMS.
New users with fewer than two friends see Grow your crew on Feed empty and Social → Friends: Invite, Contacts, and Search, plus friends-of-friends suggestions once you have one friend. Feed also shows a light Invite CTA while you have fewer than three friends (dismiss for the day anytime).
Download
General “get the app” links (including invite SMS footers) go to https://useslumber.com/download — one page for App Store and Google Play.
Leaderboards
Newcomers on Global / club boards now show place ↑ instead of a blank delta when they weren’t on last week’s board.
Also includes the Social tab (Global · Clubs · Friends), offline Save, multiline comments, nap times, personal-record polish, Stats refresh, share Customize / Feed Card / Light-Dark, Compare from a friend’s profile, club analytics, soft Premium unlocks, Sign in with Apple, and Android polish.

All-time (default) and Weekly — Weekly is the rolling last 7 days (not a calendar week). Switch Avg hours, Avg Deep %, Avg REM %, Avg Core %, and Dream rate. Place badges show ↑/↓ vs the same board 7 days ago (flat ranks stay unmarked; 0% Deep/REM/Core/dream rows are hidden). Opt out anytime in Settings → Privacy → Appear on Global leaderboard.
Feed & personal records
Comments can span multiple lines (Return for a new line; the box grows up to four lines). Monthly records unlock after five nights that month. Hide best/worst chips from friends in Privacy.
Stats & sharing
Stats got a cleaner look with clearer colors. When sharing a night as an image: use Customize card to show or hide fields, try the Feed Card layout (it mirrors the feed), pick Light or Dark — including a transparent background.
Offline & sync
When you’re offline, an Offline mode banner appears and Log Sleep can Save offline — posts stay on your device with a Pending sync badge on your profile until you’re back online.
