What's new • Your videos name themselves. Free recordings and imports now get a title from what you actually said, and a short description — no more "Free recording Sep 18" in your library. You can still rename anything. • Choose your microphone. Pick the built-in mic, a wired lav or Bluetooth earbuds right from the recorder, and the app remembers your choice. • Record hands-free with a Bluetooth selfie-stick remote. • Fixed videos playing off-centre or as a black screen with audio in the library. • Fixed the camera staying locked after the app was interrupted.

Fixes and refinements • Recordings now start at 1080p / 30fps. 4K is still there in Settings whenever you want it — the new default keeps files small enough to upload and post without trouble, and uses about a sixth of the storage per minute. If you've already chosen a quality, your choice is unchanged. • You can now sign out from the subscription screen. If you signed up with the wrong account, you can switch without reinstalling the app. • Signing out is more reliable, and no longer sits on a spinner if your connection drops part-way through.

New • Home dashboard — a new landing screen with your week at a glance, and a four-tab bottom bar. • Video Ideas — generate fresh video ideas on demand, colour-coded by thinking format. • Import videos up to 12 GB from your photo library (previously 2 GB). Large videos copy in the background, so you can leave the screen while they upload. • Storage allowances raised: Free 2 GB, Standard 100 GB, Business 500 GB. • The upload progress bar is now a slim, dismissable bar, and no longer covers the buttons at the bottom of the screen. Fixed • Large imports no longer risk closing the app — video now goes straight from your library to storage instead of through the app. • The Video / Photo chooser stays in place while iOS's photo-source menu is open, and dismissing that menu returns you to the choice. • Clearer limits: when a file can't be added, the message explains why instead of quoting a size you didn't hit. • Uploads no longer fail at zero bytes when storage is briefly slow; transient failures now retry instead of failing the whole upload. • Fixed a crash on the sign-in screen caused by a background video benchmark. • Subscriptions: the paywall no longer dead-ends on a fresh install. • Connected social accounts stay connected when a different account's token refreshes.

Recorder fixes and refinements: • Switching between front and rear cameras is now instant — it no longer restarts the recording session. • Fixed a strip of corruption along the right edge of the 4K preview on larger iPhones when opening the recorder for the first time. • The camera preview now sits exactly within its frame. • You can mark a script complete from your phone, including offline. • Fewer unexpected sign-outs.

Recording quality is now yours to choose • Pick your recording quality in Settings — up to 4K. Each option shows how much storage it uses per minute, so you can decide before you record. • Recording now uses your iPhone's camera directly. Video is noticeably sharper and motion is smoother, especially at 60fps. • Video stabilisation for steadier handheld takes. • If your phone is warm or short on space, we tell you before you start — quality never drops silently. Work without a connection • Read, edit and create scripts offline. • Record offline. Your takes upload on their own as soon as you're back online. • A pending uploads list in your library shows exactly what's still to send, so nothing goes missing. • You can change recording quality offline too. Teleprompter • A countdown before recording begins, so you're ready when it starts. Library • Separate Takes and Photos views. • Select and delete several items at once. • Upload multiple files in one go. • Save a take straight to your camera roll — the original file, not a re-encode. • Large 4K takes start playing immediately instead of buffering. Scripts • Dictate a new script with your voice. The language is detected automatically. Also in this release Recordings now survive interruptions, phone calls and app restarts. Very large uploads complete reliably. Signing out warns you if recordings are still waiting to upload. Plus a long list of stability and performance fixes throughout the app.

What's New in 1.1.2 AI script writing — Create scripts with AI right from the Scripts tab. Describe your video idea, tap Generate, and get ready-to-record script variations you can edit and save. Speak your idea — Use the new microphone button to dictate your video topic instead of typing. Script variations — Swipe through multiple generated versions of your script and pick the one that fits. Bigger editing space — Larger fields for your hook, script, and call to action make editing on your phone easier.

Vidonary 1.1.1 NEW — Publish to social Recordings now have a "Publish" option in the Library (⋮ menu). It saves the video to your camera roll, then lets you jump straight to YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, LinkedIn or Facebook. If the app isn't installed you'll be sent to the App Store. → Please test: tap Publish on a recording, check it lands in Photos, then try each platform — both with the app installed and with it deleted. → Note: this opens the app, it does not auto-attach the video. Pick the saved clip from your camera roll once you're there. That's expected. FIXED — Microphone no longer breaks after unplugging headphones Previously, if you disconnected headphones (or a Bluetooth mic) mid-session, the next recording could come out silent or with broken audio until you left and re-entered the recorder. → Please test: record with headphones, unplug them, record again without leaving the screen — audio should switch to the built-in mic automatically. IMPROVED — Teleprompter no longer covered by the timer The recording timer has moved from the top of the screen to just above the record button, so it no longer sits over the first lines of your script. IMPROVED — Library video player Videos now show a loading spinner, and a clear error with a Retry button if one fails to load, instead of a black screen. NEW — App version in Settings Settings now shows the app version and build number at the bottom — handy when reporting an issue.
