It keeps what you copy on this Mac, lets you edit supported PDFs, images, and videos in the same place, then returns the result to your clipboard for pasting, exporting, or sharing. YOUR COPIES, READY WHEN YOU ARE • Keep text, links, code, colors, images, PDFs, videos, files, contacts, and events. • Search by content, filename, source app, type, date, and pins. • Open Quick Panel from the menu bar or a global shortcut. Build a paste queue, save reusable text, and pick up nearby work in Sessions. EDIT WHAT YOU COPIED • PDF Studio edits supported existing text and objects when a file can be written safely. Add text, images, signatures, drawings, highlights, and shapes; crop or rotate pages; then save, export, or share. • Image Studio crops, draws, and adds text or shapes. • Video Studio trims, crops, and adds timed text, images, or shapes to supported clips. • Update the Kept item or create a new edited copy. Kept restricts protected, damaged, or unsupported PDF changes instead of risking the source document. Not every PDF supports the same edits. SAFE AND LOCAL BY DESIGN History, search, editing, and backups stay on this Mac. Kept has no account requirement and no automatic Kept cloud sync. Skip selected apps, pause capture, and keep sensitive copies out of history. Direct paste into another app requires macOS Accessibility permission; without it, Kept still returns the selected item to the system clipboard. ONE PURCHASE. NO SUBSCRIPTION. Share. • PDF Studio now safely edits supported existing text and objects, adds text, images, signatures, drawings, highlights, and shapes, and supports page crop, rotation, save, export, and sharing. • Image Studio adds fast crop, text, drawing, and shape edits for copied images. • Video Studio trims and crops supported clips, with timed text, image, and shape overlays. • Large PDFs now show real loading progress, and protected documents explain clearly when they remain read-only. • Added text can be selected, moved, and edited again. Edited copies and pasted files keep cleaner names. • Quick Panel behavior, performance, accessibility, stability, and all seven localizations have been refined. Protected or unsupported PDF structures remain protected instead of being rewritten unsafely.
