Scatto is an iPhone camera that brings the dial back. Tap to lock, drag to adjust, snap a metal toggle, fire a shutter that feels like one. Hand-mastered color. No menus.
THE FILM
Eight color looks, each mastered as a 64-point LUT in DaVinci Resolve. Not presets. Not a saturation knob with a name.
• OVERCAST. Muted greens, lifted blacks. A 200-speed print left in a bag for a summer.
• PARCHMENT. Slide-film yellows, warm earth, highlights that hold. A documentary photo from 1972.
• ENAMEL. Saturated reds, deep blue skies, sun-drenched contrast.
• DAYLIGHT. Honest color, gentle contrast, accurate skin. The scene, not a mood.
• AMBER. Amber highlights, cool blue shadows. A late-summer afternoon, the way you remember it.
• BLEACHED. Pale blue haze, warm midtones, lifted shadows. A California afternoon in a fifteen-year-old photo album.
• PACIFIC. Lapis blue, gold midtones, ocean teal. The Pacific coast at golden hour.
• PEACH. Warm pastel skin, creamy highlights. A portrait roll printed on a calm afternoon.
LAYER A FILTER
Stack one of four classic looks on top of any sim. Two looks, one roll.
• EXPIRED GREEN. Olive cast, muddy shadows. A roll forgotten in a hot car.
• EXPIRED RED. Magenta lean, washed highlights. The drugstore disposable.
• EXPIRED NEUTRAL. Warm cream, quiet patina. Vintage softness without the cast.
• HALATION. Orange-red bloom around the brights. The cinema-film glow.
THE BODY
• A yellow pill film tab. Swipe to switch, long-press to layer a filter.
• A metallic STILL / MOVIE toggle that clicks like a real switch.
• Manual exposure pills. Tap to lock, drag to set: shutter, ISO, EV.
• A draggable portrait preview with real depth.
• Every control belongs to a camera, not a screen.
THE ROLL
• Captures land in Scatto's own album, grouped by day like a roll of film.
• LCD-style date overlay and EXIF readout on every frame.
• Horizontal paging through the roll, multi-select to save or delete in bulk.
• Optional mirror to Apple Photos, off by default.
ON YOUR PHONE
• No accounts. No sign-up. No cloud syncing your roll.
• Photos save to Scatto's own album on your device and stay there unless you choose to share them.
