ABOUT THE COLORS
White noise is even across the audible spectrum and good for masking sudden sounds. Pink noise has more low-end and reads as warmer, often used for sleep. Brown noise drops further into the bass and reads as a steady rumble. Green noise sits in the middle and many find it the most natural. Try each one for a few minutes - most people land on a favorite within a session.
