EggXact boils eggs the way a physicist would. It works out the cook time from different parameters, so you get the doneness you want, every time. CLASSIC BOILING Pick the egg's weight, its starting temperature, and how done you want it, from liquid yolk to hard boiled. EggXact runs the Williams heat diffusion formula and reads air pressure from your device's barometer, so the cook time fits your altitude. PERIODIC COOKING Move the egg every 2 minutes between hot and cold water over eight cycles. This is the new Musto and Di Maio method to boil an egg, and it brings the white and the yolk each to its own ideal temperature.
