Model choices are simple on the surface: - Instant AI: fast and private for quick help - Private AI: better everyday answers after download - Smart AI: stronger optional local model for newer Macs - Ultra AI: the most capable optional local model for larger devices Advanced users can still open settings for technical details, local endpoint testing, and developer diagnostics. PrivyMind supports configurable local AI server endpoints such as Ollama, LM Studio, and llama.cpp server for testing. Privacy is the product: PrivyMind runs local AI models on your Mac and stores chats locally unless you delete or export them. There is no telemetry by default, no account system, and no prompt upload for the normal local model flow. PrivyMind is for curious people, writers, students, families, and anyone who wants a private AI chat experience that feels friendly instead of complicated.
