Anchor & Almanac: Homeschool
Christian Planner & AI Tutor
Free · In‑App Purchases · Designed for iPad. Not verified for macOS.
Plan the week, generate the worksheets, tutor the kids. A homeschool planner and AI tutor for Christian moms with a houseful and a real curriculum mix.
THE PLANNER. THE TUTOR. THE FAITH.
Anchor & Almanac is the Christian homeschool planner and helper built for the way you actually homeschool. Created by a homeschool mom of five, not by Silicon Valley.
Designed for the kitchen table, the carpool line, the soccer field, and the moments between nursing the baby.
— BUILT FOR CHRISTIAN HOMESCHOOL FAMILIES
The AI tutor inside Anchor & Almanac respects your Christian worldview, and shapes every answer and every worksheet to align. Your kids can ask questions without you worrying what they're reading on the other side. No secular drift, no progressive lectures, no surprises.
— THE PLANNER, FINALLY DONE RIGHT
Snap a photo of any curriculum's table of contents or just click to add what's already loaded into the app — Apologia, Saxon, BJU, IEW, The Good and the Beautiful, Master Books, Memoria Press, etc. — and Anchor & Almanac reads it and builds your school year.
Each kid gets a daily checklist. Mark a lesson done; the next one appears tomorrow. Self-paced, because real homeschool reality is sick days, co-op days, and the slow week of the year your family just needs.
— THE TUTOR THAT KNOWS YOUR KID
When your child has a question, the AI tutor helps them think — not just hands them the answer. Socratic, warm, and trained on a Christian worldview. Built to never produce inappropriate content. Always refers your kids back to you for the big questions.
— DAILY FAMILY WORSHIP
Optionally choose to include a hymn, and/or, Bible verse, and/or catechism questions into your morning rhythm. Choose from: Four catechisms bundled (Westminster Shorter, Heidelberg, Baltimore No. 1, New City); Four Bible reading plans (M'Cheyne, Chronological, Gospel-a-Day, 90-Day NT); Twelve public-domain hymns, one per month, with lyrics included. Spaced-repetition memory work that makes verses and catechism answers easy to practice.
— BRAIN DUMP
Talk or type whatever's swirling — kid concerns, schedule changes, ideas, to-dos. The AI sorts it into structured action items you can apply to the planner with one tap.
— REPORTS YOUR STATE WILL ACCEPT
For those whose state requires reports for attendance, hours, subjects studied, lesson detail. Generate a complete Homeschool Activity Report PDF in one tap. Email it, AirDrop it, print it. For your own records. Check your state's specific homeschool requirements.
— PRIVACY, BY DESIGN
Family records live on your iPhone or iPad. We don't have a database of your information. When you use AI features, the prompt text routes through our own server to Anthropic's Claude API and is never used to train models. No analytics, no ad networks, no third-party SDKs.
— WHO BUILT IT
Hi, I'm Kinzi - a homeschool mom of five, raising my kids from a Reformed Christian worldview. I built this because I thought it could serve Christian homeschool families and make our lives a little easier, while respecting our beliefs.
— PRICING
14-day free trial, then $12.99/month or $99/year. Cancel anytime in iOS Settings. Family Sharing supported.
Built in America. Glory to God.
Ratings & Reviews
- This app hasn’t received enough ratings or reviews to display an overview.
A tutor for the kids and a flashcards generator for mom.
The Tutor tab. Open it on the kid's iPad or your phone. They can type a question, talk to it, or snap a photo of the page they're stuck on. It walks through math, reading, writing, history, or science without giving away the answer, stays inside schoolwork, and bounces anything weightier back to mom or dad. The tutor respects and operates from the Christian worldview.
Flashcards. New supplement under Supplementals. Pick a kid, type the topic or snap a few pages, and the AI builds a deck. Print as double-sided cards, or study them right in the app with a card-flip view.
Worksheets and flashcards from multiple pages. Snap up to five pages from a chapter and the AI uses all of them to build practice that matches what the student is actually reading.
Copywork and spelling from a photo. Snap a page from a story book, a Bible, or a vocab list and the app pulls the right passage or word list onto a printable practice sheet.
Small fixes throughout.
