Torah and Chassidus Translate helps students, teachers, and learners turn scanned Hebrew, Aramaic, Yiddish, and Chassidus pages into readable English study material. Create projects, import or photograph pages, clean up the image, translate with a configured AI provider, review the original page next to the translation, and export your work for learning or sharing. The app is built for source-aware study workflows: translations can include summaries, paragraph structure, source references, footnotes, and notes about uncertainty. Provider keys stay on your device, and you choose which supported translation provider to use. Current beta features: - Project library for keeping scanned pages organized - Page import and image cleanup - Online translation with supported AI providers - Side-by-side viewer for source image and translation - Basic export foundations for study notes and documents - Usage and cost visibility for provider calls Offline downloads, OCR, and local model translation are in active development and are clearly marked where not yet complete.

- Fixes large PDF batch translation so different imported PDF pages cannot accidentally reuse another page's cached translation. - Adds PDF page identity to translation cache keys using source PDF hash, page number, and rendered page hash. - Adds a Retry failed action in the batch translation sheet. - Strengthens device smoke coverage for 35-page imported PDF batch translation. - Keeps Android release installs restored after integration test runners replace the app during testing.
