CardMakeTool turns the words you read into Anki flashcards — without breaking your reading flow. See an unfamiliar word in Safari, Notes, Mail, or any other app? Select it, tap Share, and CardMakeTool builds a clean flashcard ready for AnkiMobile.
Requires AnkiMobile (sold separately on the App Store). CardMakeTool is a card-making companion — reviewing still happens in Anki, where it belongs.
HOW IT WORKS
1. Select text in any app and share it to CardMakeTool.
2. Tap or drag to pick your target word, and drag to set a custom example sentence.
3. Cards collect in a queue — open CardMakeTool and tap "Send All to AnkiMobile."

WORKS BEST FOR
English learners get everything: word-by-word selection plus free online dictionary lookup. Other languages (Spanish, French, Portuguese, Korean, and more) also support word-by-word selection; Chinese and Japanese have basic word splitting. For every language, definitions are available through AI definitions (Pro) or imported offline MDX dictionaries.

- CardMakeTool makes cards; it doesn't review them — that's what Anki is for.
- Cards are created by sharing text from another app, not inside CardMakeTool itself.
