Dog Watch: Pretend Translator
Comedy phrases for dog lovers
Only for Watch

Apple Watch
A game of pretend for you and your pup: tap Listen and imagine what your dog might say. (Spoiler: mostly snacks. And love. Mostly snacks.)
Dog Watch is a comedy app — a pretend dog translator, just for laughs. It cannot really translate barks (no app can!). Instead, it reacts to the sound of your pup and imagines what they MIGHT be saying, with over fifty handcrafted phrases across seven moods.
Tap. Listen. Laugh. Repeat until your dog gets suspicious.
HOW THE JOKE WORKS
• Tap Listen and your Apple Watch measures the loudness of the moment
• The app picks a mood — Hungry, Walkies, Play Time, On Guard, Loving, Curious, or Sleepy — and serves up a perfectly plausible phrase, from "I require sniffing immediately" to "Treats now, questions later"
• An animated waveform, color-coded mood cards, and a satisfying haptic make the bit land every time
BUILT FOR WATCHOS
• One-tap pretend listening, right from your wrist
• Phrasebook to browse every phrase by mood
• History of your last 30 "translations"
• No accounts, no ads, no internet — nothing is recorded or stored
PERFECT FOR
• Dog owners who suspect their dog has Opinions
• Anyone who has ever asked their pet "what is it, buddy?"
• Group chat content, dog parks, vet waiting rooms
• A laugh when your dog is barking at, again, absolutely nothing
THE FINE PRINT (A.K.A. THE TRUTH)
Dog Watch is entertainment, not science. It does not understand, analyze, or translate dog vocalizations — it is a game of pretend, and it says so right inside the app. But honestly, your dog has been asking for that treat the whole time. We're just delivering the message.
Made with love (and a lot of treats) for the dogs in your life.
