Tackt is an agent-ready, private clipboard history app for Mac. It keeps the text and images you copy searchable on your Mac, and includes a local command-line tool so AI agents, automations, and scripts can safely work with clipboard history using JSON output.
For everyday use, Tackt lets you search your clipboard history, filter text and images, mark important clips as favorites, and copy anything back with a click. It runs from the menu bar and keeps your history local on your Mac.
For agent workflows, the included tackt CLI can list, search, fetch, add, copy, export, and inspect clipboard history. This gives local AI agents and automation tools a predictable interface without scraping the app UI or uploading your clipboard to a cloud service.
Privacy is the default: Tackt does not use accounts, analytics, syncing, or uploads. Your clipboard history stays in your user Application Support folder. You can pause monitoring, clear history, choose how long to keep items, and exclude sensitive apps.
