Coaching, not just logging
A rule-based recommendation engine that turns your tasting into actionable adjustments. No AI buzzwords — proven espresso logic, translated into clear next steps.
Six taste dimensions
Acidity, bitterness, body, crema, sweetness and finish — each rated 1–5, plus an overall score. The app compares your rating against the bean's target profile and adapts its recommendations accordingly.
Machine-aware
Set up your machine and grinder once — EspressoPilot knows their characteristics and only suggests adjustments that fit your setup. Temperature suggestions only appear when your machine supports them.
Channeling detection
When your shot is sour or bitter despite a long pull time, the app doesn't naively say "grind finer" — it recognises the channeling pattern and gives the right hint instead (tamp, distribution, coarser instead of finer).
Hardware library
Over 50 espresso machines and 40 grinders curated. Fields are pre-filled automatically — quick setup instead of tedious typing.
Share your shots
Export your shot card as an image in three designs (light, dark, photo hero) and share it directly via iOS.
