It dims while Evie is busy, so it's clear when it isn't available. • Fixed: after using Read aloud, asking a new question no longer pulls the chat back to the sentence it had reached. The new answer stays in view. • The age range each profile is set to is now always on screen, so you can tell at a glance which one Evie is answering as. • The way Evie is talking — Thinking, Science, Bedtime or Storyteller — now shows as a small badge on the mode button, so it's visible at any point in a chat, not only when it changes. • Starting a story now shows your own opening line in the chat, instead of Evie replying to a question that was never there. Four are about how AI actually works: is a homework helper helping you learn, where answers come from, why a confident answer can still be wrong, and what happens when you ask the same question twice. • The back-to-school one — "Homework Helper or Homework Doer?" — is free for everyone. • Two more finish off the other tracks: owning a mistake and putting it right, and thinking before you post. • Plainer names for the ways Evie talks: Thinking, Science and Bedtime. • Press and talk, right away — the microphone opens in a fraction of the time, so first words aren't clipped, the button now responds the instant you press it, and you can cut in while Evie is still speaking. • The orange recording dot now appears only while the microphone is held. Evie was never listening at other times; now your device shows that too. • A tap you can feel when you press to talk, plus new Haptics and Click sound switches in Parent mode. • Fresh artwork across the app, sharp at every size — and a different medal each time a lesson is finished. • Large text sizes are much better supported — every screen was swept, and the layouts that used to squeeze or cut off are fixed. • First-time setup now tells you the size of Evie's one-time download before it starts.
