Every practice keeps its own copy of every patient. Every patient starts again at every front desk. Hylexa replaces the copies with one record, held by the patient, worked in by the practice.
This app is not a medical device. It does not diagnose, treat, or prevent any condition.
NOBODY SIGNS THEMSELVES UP
Patients are invited by their practice. Staff and clinicians sign in with the account their organisation issues. Downloading this on its own will not get you into anything.
IF THE RECORD IS YOURS
Fill in your history, medications and allergies at home, at your own pace, weeks before anyone asks. See your appointments and exactly what you owe each one. Look after a child's record alongside your own, with your authority to consent actually written down.
Sign your consent forms on your phone before you get there. Then decide who sees your record, invite a clinician, choose which parts they get, and take it back whenever you want. Every look at your record is logged, in language you can read.

IF YOU RUN THE FRONT DESK
A licence and an insurance card become a patient record and a coverage record. You confirm what was read instead of typing it twice. A child arriving with their grandmother is a designed path, not a text box you have to improvise into.
IF YOU COORDINATE OR BILL
Expired cards, unsigned consents, half-finished histories and screening results nobody has looked at stop being things you remember and start being tasks with an owner and a due date. Prior authorisations go electronically and are tracked to an answer.
IF YOU SEE PATIENTS
A chart that tells you where every value came from, measured here, scanned from a document, or typed by the patient, and coded against the standard vocabularies, so allergy and interaction checking has something real to work with. Prescribe with interaction and allergy checking and the patient's actual cost before you send it. Appointments on the calendar you already keep. Video visits that open here.
SECURITY
Staff sign in through your organisation's identity provider; patients use Face ID or Touch ID. Permissions are enforced on our servers, not hidden in the interface. Every record access is logged and reportable.
