Storm & Rain The storm now has its own lightning animation, with the particles moving in sync. The overall effect is calmer and more focused than before. Rain now has a soft drizzle layer in the background that slowly drifts in and fades away. Smoother transitions throughout Animations across the app have been refined: tab switches, expandable cards in Insights and Profile, and figure selection in Journey now respond with spring-based motion instead of hard cuts. The tab bar fades gently when you enter a session, no more jumping or sliding. Journey The selected Storm tile now shows a magenta border. Haptic feedback when tapping figures is now consistent. Insights The Storm description has been rewritten to reflect the full experience, including the brief lightning flash. Also: improved scrolling performance.

A Moment for You A quiet daily invitation to your companion, at a time you choose. A single, gentle reminder, never a stream of pings. Off by default, you decide if and when. Find it in your profile. Like everything in Vän: no account, no ads, and it never follows you.

The companions have come to life. Now you can see more of what you feel. The Pulse, Purr and Gong send out gentle rings. Rain falls in visible drops, fine embers rise from the Fire, and the Breeze carries the figure softly to one side. The Storm glows deep violet, and the Moon rocks quietly from side to side. I also hand-tuned every vibration once more, so each companion feels clearer and more natural.

Vän now takes you on a journey. Choose your companions, lean back, and let yourself be carried from one feeling to the next. New in this version: - The Journey: choose up to four companions and a duration. Vän plays them one after another, splitting the time evenly, with a gentle fade between each and a gong to let you go at the end. - The Moon: a new companion with a slow, rocking sway, like a cradle or calm waves at the shore. Especially lovely in the evening and before sleep. - Pure mode goes quieter: with Pure mode on, the home screen now shows your companions as a calm grid, with no words at all, just the figures on their soft glow. - Plus many small refinements for gentler transitions.
