Chat - Keyboard opening in a chat no longer flickers or leaves a white gap; photos load smoothly without resizing while scrolling. - More reliable photo sending — uploads happen in the background so you can keep chatting; messages no longer duplicate, disappear, flicker, or hide behind the keyboard. Long-press to react / see options. - Delivery ticks: clock while sending, check when sent, blue double-check once read. - Much more reliable in busy conversations — messages, reactions, and read receipts appear live on both sides, no refresh needed. - Opening chats is much faster even for long threads (scroll up to load older); sending is instant instead of pausing. - Opening a chat from a notification returns you to the messages list on back. Other - Notifications can be swiped away to delete. - Photos added to a post keep the order you picked, even if some upload slower. - Live auctions stay smooth during fast bidding — prices update instantly for everyone. - Bug fixes and improvements.

This update makes chat faster and smoother, sharpens images across the app, and fixes a number of rough edges reported since 1.0.8. NEW - Send photos in chat instantly — images appear right away, keep sending on a spotty connection, and retry automatically. - Take a photo or pick from your library right inside chat, your profile, and new posts, using your phone's native camera/library chooser. - React to chat messages with a tap, and long-press a message to Copy, Edit, or Delete — without the keyboard closing. - Undo accidental notification deletes: swipe to delete, then tap Undo within 5 seconds (with a countdown so you know how long you have). IMPROVEMENTS - Faster, cleaner images everywhere — feeds, listing carousels, and the full-screen viewer now show a quick preview that sharpens as the full image loads, so you never stare at a blank or black screen. - Featured posts now match the website, and Sold / Filled items are clearly stamped. - Profile photos are never blank — a silhouette shows while loading or if a photo can't load. - Comment authors now show their verified check and Admin badge. - Opening a chat is smooth — the keyboard and messages no longer flicker. - Your chat list stays current — new messages show up without a manual refresh, even after you've deleted a conversation. - The empty "No chats yet" screen now looks right on every device. FIXED - Fixed feed and listing images that sometimes failed to load. - Fixed the reaction menu covering the Like button on iOS. - Fixed a listing's description overlapping its location on some Android phones. - Fixed photo order not being kept when selecting multiple images. - Fixed sign-out so it fully logs you out, and removed an extra iOS sign-in popup. - Fixed being unable to edit or delete a comment immediately after posting it. - Made the delete (X) on new-post image thumbnails visible in dark mode. - Reference checks can now only be edited by admins.

We've rebuilt the sign-up experience and fixed a number of issues: • Smoother sign-up. Start by choosing "I have a BayID" to find your existing account by email or phone, or sign up fresh — your name and photo are carried over for you, and your verified phone is locked in automatically. • Fixed sign-in for new members. Brand-new accounts using Google, Facebook, or Apple were getting bounced back to the sign-in screen instead of reaching setup — that now works. • Browse while you wait. If your account is awaiting approval, you can now browse listings instead of hitting a dead end. • Sign out everywhere. Signing out of the app now also ends your session on the website. • Fixed a launch crash some members were seeing. • Onboarding polish: resolved a blank account-lookup screen, an unresponsive Terms toggle, unclear error messages, and incorrect "code sent" wording.
