Meet other explorers. Add friends with an invite code to see their latest catches in a shared activity feed, and spot which friends have already found each species. The global leaderboard is back too: climb the ranks by species, rare finds, and scans, with private-by-default controls so you choose if and when to reveal your name. Scans now survive a dropped connection. Lose signal mid-scan and your capture waits safely in an outbox, then uploads itself once you are back online, so a find is never lost. Species cards now show a typical adult weight, and you can tap any scan photo to zoom in.

Level up your explorer. • XP AND LEVELS — every scan now earns XP, scaled by how rare your catch is. Watch the level bar fill on your profile, and enjoy the victory fanfare when you rank up. • LEGENDARY TIER — the rarest ~2% of animals now mint a legendary card in obsidian and gold. • NEVER LOSE THE SHOT — if you run out of scans mid-catch, we now take the photo anyway and hold it for you, so the animal doesn't have to wait. • TAP TO FOCUS — tap the viewfinder to focus and meter exactly where you want. • SAVE YOUR DEX VIEW — pin your favourite filter and sort as the default. • A CLEARER SCANNER — the capture button now says SCAN and carries a camera icon, the console frame no longer shifts as you navigate, and the camera stays put when you tilt your phone. • Fixed sharing the same card twice to WhatsApp.

• Animals we can only identify to a broader group — bumblebees, ants, moths, and other tricky bugs — now become collectible creatures instead of a dead end. • Domestic animals are named correctly: a chicken is finally called Chicken, not its wild ancestor. • Polish and small fixes throughout.

Mystery species are clearer to spot now, with a tap to learn how they work. And a new profile panel shows how you rank by species, rare finds, and scans.
