Fix: 1.4.1 - Fairer targets: on puzzles with only a few words for a slot, one very long word no longer sets the target, so hitting the target is fairer on over a hundred puzzles.

- Share a result and your friends get a Challenge Link. Tapping it drops them into your exact puzzle, then shows both scores side by side. If your friend does not have Affixly yet, the link opens a quick App Clip (iOS only still), so they can play and compare without installing - and move into the full app after if they so wish. - Put your name on the challenges you send, from the result screen or Settings > Gameplay. Leave it blank to stay anonymous.

1.3.20 - New - Added anonymous usage stats - which screens you use, and for how long - to help guide future improvements, with a switch in Settings to turn it off. No personal data, no advertising identifiers. 1.3.21 - Fixed - Fixed a rare issue that could cause the app to close in the background if you left it right after opening. 1.3.22 - Improved - Settings now explains that Group Notifications also keeps your app-icon badge count up to date after the daily reset - so if the badge looks stale, that is the switch to turn on.

Improvements: - The app icon badge now updates shortly after each day's puzzle resets, even if you haven't opened the app yet - no more stale unplayed count waiting for your next launch. Bug fixes: - Some valid infix answers were wrongly rejected when the word also happened to end in the affix. - Group dailies could be replayed after submitting, and a replay could quietly wipe the submitted score back to "in progress". A group day now locks properly once you've played it. - Tapping a notification could sometimes crash the app before it appeared, looking like the app never opened.

IMPROVED - The wrong-word and right-word sounds now have their own separate toggles in Sound & Haptics. - Snappier all round: the home screen, archive calendar, achievements, and puzzle loading all do less work behind the scenes. FIXED - Addressed a case where tapping the daily reminder could open the app to a stuck black screen. - A puzzle finished automatically after the app sat in the background across the daily reset now stays on the day it belongs to - it no longer shows up on today's board or blocks today's puzzle.

Fixes: - A group member could occasionally appear twice in the leaderboard. Fixed. - Leaderboard ranks (1st, 2nd, 3rd...) now use a neat superscript style, with names lining up cleanly regardless of rank. - A puzzle slot could offer two hints that said exactly the same thing. Those slots now show a genuinely different hint instead.

New - Joining or creating your first group now offers to notify you when friends finish the daily puzzle - no more hunting through Settings. - Help now explains what counts as a word, and what's deliberately excluded. Improved - Settings got a tidy-up: options are now grouped into Appearance, Gameplay, Sound & Haptics, and Notifications pages. - Submitting with a broken word now jumps straight to the offending slot with a short "Fix the error" nudge, so you know where to look. - Long puzzle hints now show at full size, using the room below them instead of shrinking to tiny text. Fixed - A group play finished automatically while the app was backgrounded overnight could land on the wrong day in the group's history. Any past plays this affected are corrected automatically. - A group you'd already played no longer briefly shows as unplayed after a network hiccup. - Group invites sent over AirDrop now arrive as a tappable invite link instead of a text file. - The "Postfix" label on the group score screen no longer breaks onto two lines at larger text sizes.

NEW • Group Notifications: opt in to get a push the moment someone in your group finishes the daily puzzle. Off by default, free for everyone. • What's New screen: after each update, see a quick one-time summary of what changed. IMPROVED • The Groups screen loads noticeably faster, and group cards keep their full size while scores load in - no more flicker on the way in.
