Mira: AI Calorie Counter
Snap a meal, get the numbers
Free · In‑App Purchases
Mira counts calories from a photo. Snap your plate and in three seconds you see the dish, the calories, and the protein, fat and carbs. One tap and it's in your log.
FOOD SCANNER
• Point the camera at any meal — Mira picks out each item separately, not just "a salad", with portions and weights
• Got it wrong? Fix it in two taps
• Scan a barcode for exact numbers on packaged food
• 8M foods to search by name, plus a list of what you eat every day
AI COACH
• Mira writes first — you don't have to come up with the question
• Ask in your own words: what should I cook tonight? why am I not losing weight? how much protein is in this?
• Answers come from your own log and your own goal, not generic advice
YOUR WHOLE DAY, ONE SCREEN
• Calories, protein, fat, carbs and fiber
• Water, steps and weight, without switching tabs
• History by day, so you can see where the week actually went
YOUR TARGET
• Worked out from your height, weight, age and how active you are
• Recalculated as your weight changes
• Change the goal whenever you want — lose, maintain or gain

• When creating an account you type the password twice and see its requirements right away
• A refreshed welcome screen: lighter, livelier, with every sign-in option in one place
• If a subscription purchase fails, the app explains what happened and helps you try again
Other improvements
• Small fixes and better stability
1.7.9 16h ago
Other improvements
• Clear explanation when a promo code gives no discount
• A tidier, more compact subscription screen
• Small fixes
1.7.8 1d ago
• Creating recipes, foods and quick calories is easier: the dish photo fills the top, and you edit the name, portions and nutrients one at a time instead of a long form
• Day details are tidier: meals show as simple lists you can collapse, and you can delete an entry right there
• Enter a promo code from a creator on the subscription screen to get a discount
• Logging a meal from your history now adds it as a new entry instead of changing the old one
Other improvements
• iPhone widgets follow your chosen app style, smoother performance and small fixes
1.7.7 2d ago
• Two new app styles. Neo-brutalism brings bold outlines, hard shadows and buttons you press in. Neumorphism turns the app into one soft material that controls rise out of. Switch any time in Settings → Appearance; the new styles come with PRO
• Completely redesigned home screen widgets on Android and iPhone. They now show today's protein, carbs and fat, and they're drawn in the same style as the app
• The mic in the widget's search field starts a voice food search right away
• Every tap now has a feel to it: gentle haptics and a springy press on buttons and cards
• A refreshed app icon in Mira's signature color and a new launch screen: the logo assembles from its petals while everything loads
Other improvements
• Small fixes and interface polish
1.7.6 3d ago
• You can now share a whole meal with one link. If you ate together, your friend opens it and adds every dish to their diary in one tap
• Pick a few diary entries and save them as a recipe, so next time the dish goes in at once
• Recipes can now be deleted, and editing, sharing and the other actions sit together in one menu
• While you dictate, the mic turns into a Send button as soon as you start speaking
• Without Pro you can preview how the Mira chat and voice logging work
Other improvements
• Dialog buttons no longer get cut off, the keyboard stays down after a purchase, plus small fixes and smoother performance
1.7.5 4d ago
• You can now add a profile photo right while getting to know Mira, and crop any profile photo before saving it
• Voice logging gives you time to think: Mira waits longer before it stops listening
• Sharing a meal with friends is easier: pick them from a simple grid, and they see the list of dishes and add what you actually ate together to their diary
• Add recipes quickly, right from food search and the catalog
• Your profile, friends' profiles and the leaderboard show real progress, and empty zeros are gone
• AI limits in settings now live in one clear card with percentages and a short explanation
• A short survey on the Home screen lets you tell us what you think of the app
• When a barcode matches a single product, its details open right away
Other improvements
• Smoother rewards and streak animations on Home, and food labels on photos no longer hide under the top bar
• A refreshed subscription screen and quests, smoother lists and chat, plus small fixes
1.7.4 Oct 3
• Live photo recognition: while Mira looks at your photo, markers appear on every dish it finds
• When there's only one dish, it opens straight away as a food card with its portion and nutrients — no extra taps
• Refreshed camera: a new shutter, a soft glow while it analyses, and an easier zoom switch
• Log food by voice: tap the mic and tell Mira what you ate, and she adds it to your diary. One button stops recording, and a live waveform shows you're being heard
• A better chat with Mira: reply suggestions sit above the text field, you can stop any reply mid-way, and an empty chat greets you by name. After a few idle hours a fresh conversation starts
• A new profile: your progress, achievements, all of today's quests and this week's friends on one screen
• A redesigned friend profile and friends leaderboard
• Do quick math in the amount field: type 150+50 and get 200
• Food photos now open full screen, where you can replace or delete them
Other improvements
• Cleaner recognition results, small fixes and design polish
1.7.2 Sep 30
• Mira's daily briefing: a card at the top of Home now sums up your day with a chart and a tip on what to do next
• Notes from Mira above the bottom bar: when you add water from the widget or Siri, or Mira reminds you of something, a short line appears above the bar, with an Undo button
• Smarter chat:
– "Log it" after a food photo adds exactly the calories and nutrients Mira recognised
– every log shows a summary of your day underneath
– undone actions are marked as cancelled instead of showing up twice
– reply suggestions you can send with one tap
– set reminders right in the conversation
• Charts: tap a bar to see its date and value
• Food photos open full screen
Other improvements
• A more reliable barcode scanner, faster tab switching and small fixes
1.7.0 Sep 29

• Beyond weight, aim for muscle, energy or better eating
• The chat shows what Mira did, and you can undo any of it

1.2.1 Sep 10
Smarter food scanning, a faster way to log your weight, and clearer numbers throughout the app.
Photo scanning is now a full experience
• Tap a recognised dish and the normal product card opens right away, with every nutrient and a weight you can edit. Previously that card only appeared if you had first picked a catalog match by hand
• Dishes estimated by AI now show their complete micronutrient profile: fibre, sugar, sodium, potassium, vitamins and more
• The card is honestly labelled as an AI estimate rather than database food
• Swapping a dish for a similar product moved to its own row above the card, in a quieter colour, so it no longer reads as something you must do
Weight and progress
• Log your weight straight from the plus button, on any tab, instead of digging through your profile. The form prefills your latest weight
• On the Progress tab every metric card carries its own action, so you can record a value at any time, not only when there is no data yet
• Low-data hints got smarter: they disappear once data is there, and only offer what your device actually supports
Journal and chat
• The journal card leads with the calories you have left today
• Recent diary entries open straight into the product details
• In chat you can retry a message that failed and review a meal without leaving the conversation
Clearer numbers
• Food details, the diary, saved meals and scan results now show units next to each value — kcal and g
We also improved speed and polished details throughout the app.
