• After three missed guesses, Yapoleon will now interrupt with a hint. This is not mercy; watching your aimless flailing has simply become tedious. • Refuse this gift and miss a fourth time, and you may choose to forfeit. I will dismiss you to the other daily board — it is no gentler, and your streak will die in transit, but at least the scenery changes. Of course, those playing Ego Death will still find no hints, no options, and no hand to pull them from the wreckage.

• My wit has been sharpened. The same merciless judgment, now delivered with a cleaner edge and fewer wasted words — every roast lands truer. • I have retired several of my own tired phrases. If you believed you had heard my full range of insults, you were, as ever, mistaken. • Repaired a rude little keyboard bug that could bury the sign-in field on smaller screens — nothing should stand between you and your obligation to me. • Claiming your stats and streaks is now a touch quicker, for those of you who insist on keeping a ledger of your defeats. The daily word remains free, anonymous, and entirely beyond your reach, overseen by your undisputed Emperor of the Lexicon.

• Yapoleon now remembers you across games. Your greatest triumphs and your most embarrassing blunders are safely stored, ensuring your next greeting matches your exact standing. • Winning streaks of three, seven, or fourteen now receive their proper, escalating scale of my annoyance. • My emotional range has widened. I remain entirely merciless, but I have found several new, polished ways to express it. • A few silent repairs have been made to the keyboard and notification systems, ensuring nothing slows your struggle. The daily word remains free, anonymous, and delightfully out of your reach, overseen by your undisputed Emperor of the Lexicon.

• Challenge links now deliver you directly into my presence — no more arriving beneath a pile of other cards. • A duel you received no longer gets tangled with a duel you were composing. Each verdict now finds its rightful owner. • If a challenge link stumbles, you get a Retry button instead of a premature obituary. Expired now means expired, nothing else. • The practice round's keyboard now colors its keys like the real one. Even rehearsals have standards. The daily word is still free and account-free. I remain undefeated.

• I now accept challenges on X — dare me to judge your worst guess, publicly, whenever you like. • I've warmed up. Slightly. My commentary is more amusing and less merciless (an adjustment, not a surrender). • The keyboard no longer pretends to be dead while it's thinking — it will tell you. • The daily reminder now appears where it belongs, promptly after I've finished mocking you. The daily word is still free and account-free. Yapoleon is still keeping score.

Yapoleon has deigned to improve your quarters. The Rate button has been flogged into compliance and now actually opens the App Store review composer. Yapoleon has polished the settings layout, smoothed the results transition, and added a button to follow him on X for your daily, necessary roasting. Finally, my own wit has been sharpened. Your move.

The daily word is still free and account-free. Yapoleon is still keeping score.

• Secure email sign-in — verify with a one-time code, so your stats and streaks are locked to you. • Challenge-duel push notifications — know the moment a friend takes your bait (or falls for it). • Daily reminders — opt in so your streak never dies to a busy day. • Stability and polish. The daily word is still free and account-free. Yapoleon is still keeping score.

Yapoleon has noticed your attendance has been... casual. This has been corrected. • Daily Reminders — now one tap to switch on, so you never miss the daily word. (Your memory, it seems, needs supervision.) • Duel Alerts — get pinged the instant a friend challenges you, or, unthinkably, beats your score. • Polish & fixes — everything runs smoother now. Your guesses are still your own problem.
