This release is almost entirely fixes, and the biggest one is sound. On iOS 17 and 18.0–18.3 the game ran completely silent — no music, no weapons, no explosions. Those versions cannot decode the audio format the game ships, so it now decodes them itself. Sound works everywhere again. Also fixed: • Sound faded away piece by piece during a longer session — effects first, then the music — and only came back if you left the app and returned • Music dipped and swelled on every single kill; in a dense wave the melody crawled up and down for the whole fight • Changing skin could start all five soundtrack layers at once, on top of each other • Short sound effects stopped replaying after they had been triggered once • Changing skin mid-sector could black out the playfield while the HUD kept running • Switching to the Kirian skin could leave your ship invisible while enemies and background drew fine • The generator fired an invisible shot every ten seconds — real damage and a real firing sound with nothing on screen. It powers your devices now and stays quiet • Co-op no longer opens the network unless you actually host a game The app is also about 100 MB smaller to download and each skin uses half the memory it did before, which matters most on older devices.

Weapons, credits, upgrades and score all carry over — you rewind to Sector 1 and push again. Score is now cumulative and permanently unlocks the higher weapon tiers. LEADERBOARDS Two Game Center boards: total score and deepest level reached. Score now ranks your actual score rather than your unspent credits, so buying a weapon no longer costs you rank. ALSO The Com Center shows your score and the points left to your next weapon tier. Skins carry new names. Fixes hosting a co-op game from a macOS release build.
