Rekko is the private, ad-free way to keep up with what your friends and family are actually watching — and to share back what you loved (or didn't).
No public feed. No algorithm picking your next show. No tracker pixels. Just small circles of people you choose, swapping recommendations the way you would over dinner.
CIRCLES
• Create a circle (Family, Friends, Movie Buffs, Office — whatever you want) and invite people with a single iCloud share link.
• Each circle is end-to-end private: invitees are gated by iCloud, and the data lives in your own iCloud account.
• Filter your home feed by circle, so the office chatter doesn't drown out the family movie night picks.
YOUR LIST
• Follow shows and movies with four statuses: To watch, In progress, Watched, Dropped.
• Rate watched titles with a quick 0–5 stars and a one-line take.
• Sort by recently added, alphabetical, or rating. The list is yours.
DISCOVER
• Weekly trending TV and movies from TMDB.
• "Most rated in your circle" surfaces what your friends keep coming back to.
• Search across titles, year, synopsis, country, or director.
RECOMMEND
• Send a show to a specific circle with a personal note ("Court mais super intense"). The recipients see it in their home feed, mark it as added, and the loop closes.
• Push notifications fire when a friend recommends to you — open the notif, land on the show, tap "+ Add to list".
WHERE TO WATCH
• Apple TV resolves which streamers actually carry the title in your country. One tap, no per-provider apps to install.
PRIVACY
• No third-party trackers. No ads.
• Sign in with Apple — no email or phone required.
• Shows, ratings, circles and recommendations sync via your own iCloud (CloudKit).
• Full data export and one-tap account deletion in Settings, per GDPR.
REQUIREMENTS
• An iCloud account signed in on your device — Rekko uses iCloud (CloudKit) for sync and circle sharing.
