Discover, plan and log the world’s greatest driving roads.
Routes maps 800+ legendary passes, coastal sweeps and mountain hairpins across 85 countries, from Black Mountain Pass and the Snake Pass to the Stelvio, the Transfagarasan, Route 66 and the Tail of the Dragon. Every road comes with a rich roadbook, so you know exactly what you’re in for before you turn the key.
• A living map of 800+ hand-picked driving roads across Britain and Ireland, Europe, the Americas, Asia, the Middle East, Africa and Oceania, their real routes drawn in and graded by character
• A roadbook for every road: where it runs town to town, distance, drive time, elevation profile, the character of the corners, scenery and viewpoints, hazards, and where it’s been featured (Top Gear, James Bond, evo and more)
• Best days to drive: a 7-day forecast scored for driving, so you pick the perfect day
• Look Around and a cinematic 3D fly-by to scout the road before you go
• Browse by country and continent, or find the roads near you
• Guides that rank the roads by the numbers: the highest passes, the most hairpins, the steepest climbs and the longest drives
• Curated Collections and multi-day Grand Tours: the greatest roads strung into a trip you can just drive
• Build your own road trip: string roads into days, add your overnight stops, then drive it. Start from scratch, or make one of our Grand Tours yours
• Drive Mode: a glanceable companion with a Live Activity and Dynamic Island. Record your drive and keep the route, the stats and a photo
• Your Garage: add the cars you drive and tag each recorded drive with one
• Your Passport: save the roads you love, log the ones you’ve conquered, and track your miles, regions and badges
• Download roads for offline, so a no-signal pass is never a problem
• Beautiful share cards, plus iCloud sync to keep everything on all your devices
• On the web too: browse and plan at bestdrivingroads.com — your trips sync both ways
• Home-screen widgets for a featured road and your progress at a glance
• Native, beautiful, and built for iPhone
Routes is about scenery, craft and the joy of driving, never speed. Always drive responsibly.
