Bug Fixes - Fixed an issue where editing a file in a GitHub Repo Workspace on iPad and then backgrounding or force-quitting the app could silently lose your edits — you'll now be asked to Sync, Discard, or Cancel if there's unsynced work when reopening a file. - Fixed pushing to GitHub failing with an error if you pushed the same file twice in quick succession.

- Fixed opening a Markdown file from Finder giving you a second Mandrill window. Double-clicking a file — or using Open With — opened a whole new window that carried a copy of everything you already had open, leaving you with two windows showing the same files and the same folder. The file now opens as a tab in the window you already have, and that window comes to the front, even if you'd minimized it. - Fixed your typography settings resetting every time you quit. The typeface, text size and reading width you picked in Settings — and the text size you set with Zoom In and Zoom Out — now stay put across launches, as they already did on iPhone and iPad.

Performance - Typing in long documents is faster. Every keystroke was re-doing work for the whole document above what you could see, so the bigger the file and the further down you'd scrolled, the more each character cost. - The find bar no longer scans a fresh copy of the whole document several times over while you type in it. Bug Fixes - Fixed text shifting under the cursor while you select it in the Single Editor. Selecting across bold, italic, code, or highlighted text made the line reflow mid-drag, so the selection never quite landed where you meant. Fixed the selection highlight not matching the selection when it spanned several lines. Fixed Shift+arrow appearing to do nothing when crossing the markers around bold or italic text — it now steps past them in one press. Fixed closing a folder leaving its files open. The folder's files now close with it, while files you opened on their own stay put. Fixed edits in one tab cancelling an unsaved edit in another, which could quietly lose the second tab's changes. Fixed the sidebar collapsing itself when you closed the last file or folder — it now stays open, showing your recent files. Fixed the search field moving above or below the separator depending on whether a folder was open. Fixed the check for whether Mandrill is your default Markdown viewer never returning an answer.

New Features - You'll now see what's new the first time you open Mandrill after an update. Revisit it anytime from Settings → Release Notes on iPhone/iPad. Bug Fixes - Fixed Settings always appearing in light mode, regardless of your chosen theme. - Fixed Settings ignoring your chosen theme's colors entirely — it now matches the rest of the app. - Fixed some theme switches (between two dark or two light themes) not fully applying to an open document until you closed and reopened it. - Fixed table columns ignoring center/right alignment (:---: / ---: in markdown) — they were always rendering left-aligned. - Fixed a stray extra space appearing at the start of wrapped table cell text. - Fixed inconsistent line spacing in bulleted, numbered, and checklist items so they match the surrounding paragraph text. - Fixed a crash when signing in with GitHub on macOS. - Fixed the GitHub menu icon rendering oversized in some places. - Fixed images inside GitHub-hosted documents not displaying inline. - Fixed leftover tabs and Recent Files entries lingering after closing a GitHub repo workspace. Improvements - The Settings window is roomier, and scrolls if your display is short, nothing gets cut off. - GitHub repos now appear in macOS Recent Folders for quick reopening. - Unsynced changes in a GitHub workspace are now guarded against accidental loss when closing or quitting. - Tightened line spacing across reading and editing for a cleaner, more compact look.

New Features - Image support: markdown images now render inline in the reading view instead of showing as raw  syntax, across local files, Folder Workspaces, and GitHub Workspaces - Standalone image preview: open an .png/.jpg/.gif/.webp/.svg file directly to view it fit-to-window (SVG renders live via a web view) - Insert an image into a document via a standard file picker — automatically uses a relative path when the image is inside the document's folder - Sidebar, Folder Tree, and Recent Files now show and open image files alongside markdown files - Remote (http/https) images fetch and render inline automatically - GitHub Workspace: image files fetch and render the same way as local ones, and new images can be added and synced

Bug Fixes - Horizontal rules no longer wrap at narrow window widths - Welcome/landing page restored when no file is open - Sidebar text now readable on AccentColor backgrounds — white text on selection, black text on hover - Blockquote cards use the same neutral background as code blocks, fixing contrast issues in both light and dark mode - Text selection highlight uses the default macOS system color instead of AccentColor - Right-click context menu (Copy, Look Up, Select All) now works in read-only mode - Clicking elsewhere properly deselects text in read-only mode
