Live train updates, properly - Your lock screen now shows the stops along your route, where the train has got to, and which halt is next. - The next halt tells you when you reach it, not just where it is. - The delay line is honest. A train running late says how late it is, instead of always claiming it is on time. - The journey reads as "New Delhi to Kanpur" rather than a train number. Flights - Your travel-day flight card is now served from our side, so it stays right while the app is closed, and it tells you when it last updated. - Arrival times on the dimmed lock-screen card now show in the airport's timezone. They could previously fall back to your phone's local time, which put a landing time hours away from the arrival time printed right beneath it. Also in this release - Sharing a trip with Follow-Me opens the share sheet straight from the link. - The home screen picks syncing back up when your network comes back. - Notification permission prompts turn up at a sensible moment. Your train card now answers the questions you actually ask. • Platform, from the moment you book. It tells you when it will be posted, "on the day", then "at 14:10", instead of leaving the space blank. • A countdown only when it helps: six hours before departure, or the evening before an early train. Before that, just the date. • When to leave, with the buffer stated plainly, and never a guess about where you are. • Waitlist, chart and confirmation status read straight from the railway, including your coach position once the chart is out. • Flight cards prompt you to check in at the right moment, and the route line no longer claims you have flown a distance you have not.
