SFI course D now has 120 new words, eight new grammar topics, 37 new sentences in Build sentences, 60 new speaking exercises and seven formal writing tasks. We have corrected around 20 mistakes in every course: answers, grammar rules and facts about Sweden. Build sentences accepts more correct word orders. A new, calmer design without outlines, and each question reads more clearly. Words to review come back at the right time, and several bugs are fixed.

SFI course C and SFI course D: National test and Quick test are now in one place, under Tests. SFI Prov Plus is coming soon: a subscription with speaking test practice, every grammar topic, eight new chapters for beginners and longer AI conversations. Most of the app stays free, and your progress is kept as always.

Continue where you left off, straight from Home or a reminder. Absolute beginner: tap Next lesson when a stage is done, and practise Dictation after five stages. The test is closer to the real one: Reading uses whole texts, and the longest answer is no longer the right one. SFI course D has four new, longer texts and two writing tasks, one formal. Intermediate now has Practice and Writing. Speaking exercises listen better, in Persian and Somali too, and say when the microphone is off.

New: spelling. Six new topics in Grammar teach the rules, including double consonants, the sj-sound and capital or small letters, each with a film. They are in SFI course C, SFI course D and Intermediate. Dictation now has Words: hear a word and type it, and the app shows what went wrong and often which rule applies. Buttons for å, ä and ö sit under the text field. Ten new films in Grammar in SFI course C. A grammar question in Absolute beginner marked the right answer as wrong. It is fixed.

New in SFI course C: 118 new words in Vocabulary, in ten new topics, including Money and payments, Children and preschool and In the test. Every word and example sentence is recorded at normal and slow speed. Plus ten new topics in Grammar. New in Intermediate: ten new topics in Grammar, each with a film, 60 new speaking exercises and 50 new sentences in Build sentences. In the grammar exercises, the right answer no longer tends to sit in the same place.

New in Intermediate: 115 new words in Vocabulary, in ten new topics, including Clothes and shoes, At the restaurant, Travel and holidays and Common verbs. Every word and example sentence is recorded at normal and slow speed. More sentences in Build sentences: 33 new in SFI course C and 30 new in Intermediate.

Small improvements.

New: Contact us. Send us a message right from the app, on the You tab under Support. Fixed: on smaller screens, the buttons in Build sentences, Word Duel and Fill in the blank could not be tapped. They work now. Game titles are easier to read.

Beginner lessons now continue where you left off. New learners choose where they are with Swedish and start right away. If you are new to Swedish, you go straight into lesson 1, and after the first words it shows you what you have already learned. Grammar films now play right on the page. The app has a new icon. Fixed: the audio in the left-and-right exercise, which now matches the text, and an arrow that pointed the wrong way in Arabic and Persian.

You can now listen to the reading texts. The voice is recorded, so it works even if your phone has no Swedish speech. Tips and info now lists everything the app offers: stories, news, conversation and grammar films. The app tells you when today's AI checks are used up. Fixed audio that could go quiet, and an exercise about left and right.

Every card on the home screen is now the same height, so the list reads as one list. Smaller improvements and fixes.

Words are now read aloud in every course, not only in the beginner course. Tap the speaker to hear the word and its example sentence, at normal speed or slowly. New conversations at the end of chapters 9 to 12 in the beginner journey. Report an error is now available in more places. The app now explains when your phone cannot hear Swedish through the microphone. Corrected information in a few exercises.

New in 1.0.45: • The words and sentences in the beginner course are now read aloud in the same clear voice everywhere, and work even if your phone has no Swedish voice installed. • A new button plays it more slowly, when you want to hear a word part by part. • Report a mistake: one tap if an exercise is wrong, and we will know which one. • Fixed two errors in the plural exercises.
